I think because what I found online was that he was tired of Brenda parents treating him like dirt, plus Brenda went off to Paris but still don’t make sense to me either I never liked Dylan after him cheating on Brenda I feel like Brenda was just a distraction for him to get to Kelly later on

I love connection between Brenda and Dylan! Kelly and Dylan didn’t have the same connection.

Brenda always loved Dylan and wanted him to be happy, even if he didn't come with her, and Kelly considered him her property, that's the difference between them.

Jim hated Dylan the day Brandon brought him home before he even started dating Brenda... Brandon once said to Jim, "I think most of your problems with Dylan have nothing to do with Dylan." Jim was a very judgmental person. He moved his family to one of the most superficial cities in the country, and then acted morally superior toward everyone.

@@brettteply1207 That came with its own set of issues. She was very promiscuous because she lacked having her father in her life and never truly knowing what a loving father daughter relationship was supposed to be like. So in one respect Jim was overbearing, but in another respect, Kelly wished she had what Brenda had.

Yes. Actually, it was a key part of the show's premise and storylines - older generation, from the midwest, more conservative views & life experience move to a bigger, flashier, faster, more modern city with excitement yet superficial values, and as their teenaged kids adapt and embrace the lifestyle, the tension of the plot points often centred on the parents & children dynamics - with Cindy (the Walsh mom) being the more open-minded voice of reason & negotiator between Jim & Brenda.

Can’t believe they’re both gone. Where has the time gone? These two were the hottest thing going in the early 90s and now they’re gone. Sad.

....a CLASSIC "Frankie & Annette" situation; Daddy's losing his 'little Girl' (2:34), forbids her to see the mysterious, alluring Boyfriend, Friends & Brother are swept up in the lies (3:01) (2:11) ....and Brenda's clearly 'swept up', in that WIND! (1:27) ...couldn't they film on a LESS windy Day!? ...ha-HAAA!!

Yes, you took Kelly in France , yak 30 plus later I'm still devastated destroying this 2 Iconic Brenda, Dylan ! I only watch it because of them. They fits perfectly . Brenda and Dylan are Soulmates. ❤ regrets always will be at end sadly 😢

Brenda didn’t wanna hear about how she messed up in Mexico. She got her but kicked, she let everyone down, she lost her respect

The show was starting to get more popular so the writers and producers decided to spice things up

No Melrose Place was giving them a run for their money in ratings. So Luke asked to be paired with the blonde to compete with melrose place. The writers still regret that decision to this day 😂.

Yeah it stinks when Brandon was wanting to drink again after getting busted for drinking and driving Dylan took him to AA Diylan was always there when it mattered I have no clue what's wrong with Brandon he knows Dylan is good for his sister
