There is no other word to describe the color of that dial than "spectacular." Congratulations on the great piece!

I’ve like the Speedmaster Racing a lot but they are 44.25mm and very thick. The premier is on another level of beauty, the details on it is unbelievable. It’s by far my favorite chronograph right now.

Thank you for the few videos on this premier B01. This watch is been on my radar since I seen your previous video Teddy B video. It looks soooo classy.

I own both brands, so I’m not biased... Breitling does it to me on this case...

I'm an Omega guy, always have been. Breitling holds a special place for me though. Love the brand, love the designs. I own many Omega's that are very special watches to me, and one Breitling, and it's also a very special watch. They're built like proverbial tanks, but finished like art works!

I would love it if you mentioned the lug to lug wingspan of the watches, in the future

The Speedmaster Racing line has a lot of value in my opinion. Great specs for a "reasonable" price, even though I would probably prefer the 40mm models for my 7 inches wrist.

I’ve been having this dilemma for weeks now, and then this video pops up! I’ve tried both, and to me the Omega feels a little better made, but it is £500 more expensive. I’d take either though, but am edging towards the Omega. I already have a Moonwatch on leather btw.

In that case, I would probably buy the Breitling just so you would have some variety in your chronograph collection. I agree that the Omega is slightly better made though. Thanks for the comment!

The Breitling has the B01 movement, which is one of the best designed chronograph movements out there, Can’t go wrong with it.

I have both. The exact racing depicted as well as the Premier BO1 but with gray dial and black sub dials. The Omega is my newest watch, so maybe I am biased towards that, but both are amazing on the wrist and really can't go wrong either way!

Had my choices narrowed down to the Zenith El Primero and the Breitling Premier B01 panda(in the video). Chose the Breitling, just too pretty

I'm a fan of the Breitling except for the open side of the case, and i would have liked a nice bracelet option to make it more versatile.

You should compare the leather bracelets. The Breitling strap is almost twice as thick as the Omega strap, the difference is crazy!

Both of these are vertical clutch as well which means you can leave the chrono running and smooth engagement with no jump or stagger.

Can't take my eyes off the Omega ! 😍 I'm getting one for sure, but black dial or white dial, that's the big question ! 😅😅

Wish the Omega was 42 mm but man ow man that Speedmaster is a beauty. The Breitling is a Stunner as well, just WHOWW

The Norton version with the movement obscured by Norton on the display back was a big design error.

Omega’s movement has a better finish but the Breitling’s movement is better. B01 is probably the best chrono movement in the world.

Both look awesome. Wish they offered them in smaller versions as well (39-40mm).

I agree, hopefully Breitling will introduce a smaller chronograph in the future since some of their recent models are more understated. Thank you for the comment!

very hard to pick one.

I am a huge Omega fan. But this time I must admit: design-wise, I like the Breitling better. Fantastic panda design, classy and elegant, inside tachymeter scale, nice pushers. Much better than the often clunky timepieces Breitling has designed the last 15 years. Omega should consider designing it’s own racing watches, based on the moonwatch, but with more classy elements such as the Tag Heuer from the 60’s. And perhaps a little smaller than 42mm. Something like a combo of their current 39mm panda moonwatch and this one, that would be perfect. Both are nice watches though.

I am a Breitling fan so biased but there is no comparison on looks here. Vintage look all the day for me

Just like Tim Mosso, the 6-inch wristers talking about people with even smaller wrists as though they aren’t already occupying the low-end of the bell curve.

I think I prefer the Breitling, but at that price I’d go Zenith El Primero. Good review.

Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of Zenith watches in Minnesota, so I can’t make a direct comparison between these watches and the El Primero (but I have heard great things about the El Primero). Thank you for the comment!

Did you mention antimagnetic?

I own that Speedy Racing white dial - I love the look, especially on an Artem sailcloth strap. Although it is a bit big, the lug to lug is still just under 50mm so the watch is very wearable. I’d trust Omega chronographs over Breitling.

I chose the Omega over the Breitling, but they both look great to me. My reason is the full 12 hours chrono in the Speedy, compared to just 30 min in the Premier which is useless to me as I time longer events. Another reason is the METAS certification, my Speedy is my most accurate mechanical watch. We're talking +1.5 s a week. Finally, I find the Speedy more refined, it feels more premium to me: case details, white gold hour índices, ceramic bezel with white enamel filling in the tachymeter scale. I also love the textured dial in the Speedy better. I use the bracelet with micro-adjusted clasp in summer and the croc strap in winter. Very satisfying watch overall.

Me as well, the speedy is king, but it doesn't have white gold indices, they are blackened rhodium. Just FYI.

@Erik Kalifornia ok, Tim Mosso said they were gold indices in his review. Sold the watch 2 years ago after 2 years ownership. Was nice but I had issues with a couple of things.

@@Nexus.Achiles I saw his review as well. But he was mistaken. He actually reviewed the watch recently and didn't say it again. I sold it as well. But regretted it and bought it back recently. Its perfect for me.

The racing for me. But black n orange. Yes it’s hefty but that’s the appeal in a larger rotation. Adds character. The Breitling looks like a skull.

Turn any watch into a chrono. Use your phone for the time and reset your watch to 12 o’clock. There you go a 12 hour chrono. Even from a two hander.

Surely this Breitling is a beautiful timepiece, but the missing hour hand of the chronograph is a NO-NO! Besides, Omega by cleverly putting the two chronograph hands in the same subdial makes it double as a second time zone complication!

Neither of these are investment pieces you buy them wear them enjoy them. They are both great everyday wears. It makes me laugh how every one now is worried about resale. Watches at this price point as I said aren't investment pieces.

Speedmaster is gorgeous but has frankly ridiculous dimensions and a poor bracelet

Speedy all day here.... The movement is far superior. Box sapphire, ceramic bezel. It's the business!

The movements don’t compare. The Breitling is far superior. The pushers on the Omega are grotesque and make the watch even larger. If you pay retail on either of these watches, you are throwing away thousands of dollars. The both can be had for about 6 grand.

One more thing to keep in mind: Omega comes with 5 year International warranty whereas Breitling comes with 2 year warranty.

Breitling started the practice of the 5 year warranty with their B01 movement. The rest of the industry followed them.

Plus 30 min chrono? V 12 hour. C’mon...

Omega is a dreadful brand and aside form the constellation that racing one is the worst watch they put out. Breitling is a good brand and for me that B01 in black and white is the bets they ever did. No contest,
