Model + texture wise Sims 4 is modern, but Sims 3 just had was more character!

I would’ve liked for the horse breeding to produce more unique variations (maybe the foal could inherit either parents color, pattern, mane, and even hoof color) but I can imagine that’d be hard to refine when you incorporate CAS Great video Frankly I would’ve folded when I saw all those spots on the first foal 😂

Sims 3 actually had the foals look different from the parents. I wish Sims 4 incorporated that

I wish there was a mod that would improve pet gebetics...I hate that they are basically clones of the parents...I think only dogs can have random coats added in? Sims 3 Breeding was way better. Not necessarily accurate but at least markings mixed with the other coats and you could have crazy things that way XD

the first coat you had to do was super complex, and given you only used the brushes from the first page i think you did a great job! for coats with lots of splashes and spots, i do recommend you look into the other two “pages“ of brushes. there‘s sort of stamps which makes blankets and splotches way easier, also there‘s stencils for legs and sabinos and such, which essentially has you filling out only certain areas. still love how you used both games here, and foals are always cute no matter how they look hehe

I love what you are doing here from Sims 4 and Rival Stars mixing the genetics. I am actually playing a game called Horse Isle 3: Infinite Wilds which can be found on whatever browser you are using. I taking foals born from there and remaking them on the Sims 4 then breeding them. I also use a random wheel generator to choose what colors the foals born in the sims will have. It Is by far the best way to get unique looking horses. 🥰

Love the way the babies turned out! Especially the first one! Just a heads up the thin marking on the Hoof is called a cornet band(no hate at all).

I liked this video a lot! I love Rival Stars and I love making custom coats on Sims 4 on my gallery! Both are fun for me so it's cool seeing both get integrated into one video! I would watch another one of these for sure!!

Something that could help others wanting to get this pack, I added horses to my gallery before I got it then once I got it I wasn’t able to add them to my household

If you want to make more of these breeding videos and get double genders in rivals stars again, you could try breeding the same horses again until you get a foal with the right gender that has the same or very similar coat pattern (not necessarily the exact same colour). This was such a cool idea!

Hi! I play the sims a lot, and i play with mods. I don’t know if you like play with mods but there are some really nice mods for horses that make them look a lot better, such as default “skins”, changing the horse model, and tack.

I feel like they could’ve done something with the breeding like Alicia online, you’ve played Alicia so I think you know what I mean lol. The outcome would depend on the horses lineage, or they could’ve done a whole dice roll between the coat pattern and coat but higher odds to get the parents coat colour & pattern. I hope what I’m trying to say makes sense lol. They could’ve done better with the genetic part of the breeding but overall it’s a great pack from what I’ve seen! (Haven’t played it, my laptop doesn’t have enough space for the sims 😢 made that misstake lol) But I remember ts3 breeding with horses & etc being allot better with the genetics/dice roll in coat colour & pattern.

Rival stars is soooo inaccurate with their genetics system. Like dilutes do not hide except 1 cream gene on black… like it’s close to being the most realistic but it’s still sooooo inaccurate. But thank you for showing us this. My pc died this time last year then I had a baby so haven’t gotten to play it yet ❤

I feel like, if you wanted, you could've recreated one of the rival stars babies and switched their gender that way for a better (more accurate) result

lol To be fair, I don't think you did that bad! I will say, though, the Sims has a really big horse community. 😋And so there's lots of good horse related custom content and mods to make them look better, and that includes preset stencils people have made for horse coats, which make it much much easier and faster to create particular coat patterns so you don't have to do it all by hand. That might be helpful if you'd like to do this again

@@AbigailPinehaven Understood. I will say that the breeding genetics is better there than Sims 4. But I heard that new updates for Sims 4 horses is in the works.

I do like the sims 4 horses, i like the hair details on them but i wish their facial features werent as cartoonish. Unfortunately my biggest issue with sims 4 horses is that you cant get them to breed. You can 'encourage' it but you cant just do it like you can in sims 3. On a regular play through that would be fine but I really enjoy doing working/breeding ranches and the horse generation challenges. Idk if there is one, but if someone makes a mod to change this then I would immediately download 🤣 This is an interesting idea tho, I may have to try this for myself!

Right!? Imo it was really disconnected that I can't control my horse (like I could in Sims 3) and they also removed basic mechanics like leading and jump courses 😔
