She DESERVED the Olympic medal so much. So is Wakaba Higuchi. This was a real crime.

Amazing how she went out and performed like that, considering the bereavement she experienced while she was out there.

Her, Wakaba, Yelin were very underscored. They had similar short program contents as the Russians and had better execution, yet were scoring 7-10+ points lower. Wakaba should've been first in the short, the fact that she placed behind Kamila (step out of 3A) and Sasha (fall on 3A) is ridiculous. Scherbakova's wrong edges weren't called out either, so technically none of the Russians should've been at the top 3 (I love all the skaters, so this isn't a personal attack against them)

Yes, the tech panel immediately yellow-boxing nearly every single element by Wakaba, Yelim, and Young was so ridiculous and transparent. I really hope Wakaba gets her team medal soon 😢

@@coconutgelato7459 Same here, it's been too long. When they do, they should be flown in to have a medal ceremony and make it so extravagant so that it somewhat makes up for them not having their moment at the Olympics

​@Hello Kitty She was injured on waist last season. So she was not selected as national team member. So you could not see her 2023 world championship and 4cc championship. But I believe her. She is struggling to be back.

With the exception of Anna, this was far better than any of the Russian girls. The judges blatant favoritism towards the Russian female skaters is almost embarrassing.

@@bbl1188 I just did not see those mistakes you and others speak of Anna has the least prerotation of any Eteris skaters. , but I admit I love her skating style. I would have Kaori in first, Wakabi in second, You Young in third , and Anna in fourth, both Kamila and Sasha messed up in their short program I would have put Kamila in fifth place and Sasha in sixth. Sasha fell on her jump. Kamila bungled one of her jumps. Also, while what happened to Kamila was really sad, it is also embarrassing to me how she ended up in fourth place after the disastrous free skate she had.

CULTURAL APPROPRIATION!!! SHE ISN’T FRENCH AND SHOULD BE CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY!!! Just kidding. That was the performance of a lifetime and she knew it. To bring it that hard at the Olympics without any obvious glaring flaws truly is something to be proud of and she brought honor to her family, coaches, teachers, mentors, country and herself. I actually really don’t care for Les Mis from doing too much theater back in the day, but her whole program and breathtaking performance gave me nothing but warm fuzzies in my heart. What a delight. 💙🎭⛸️

It's funny when reviewing score card, these Russian and Azerbaijanis judges give unreasonably high scores to Russian girls and give such a harsh deductions and such a stingy GOE to all Asian skaters. It's really funny that it's just incredibly OBVIOUS. These judges should be banned from international events.

Her dress… I mean why did they had to put sparkles on CAUSETTE’s dress.. the program is inspired from Les Misérables so why ?? It kinda diminishes the meaning and emotions of her skating. Yes ladies, you don’t have to put sparkles and sequins on every single thing.

It's not that deep. The majority of figure skaters have sparkles on their costumes (men too, so this is not a 'lady' thing). It's for the audience. Thanks to sparkles, people who have worse sits are able to see skaters better. In my opinion, the costume is beautiful the way it is and sparkles don't take any meaning and emotions from Young's performance.
