that. is what overcorrection looks like. that being said Lyon sure as hell had it coming, but the ramifications of BOL4 is concerning to say the least.

@@malcolmfletcher2659 i don't agree.. Even a very powerful nuke with a lot of burn damage can be easily defeated. An offensive unit no matter how oppressive it will be, never be as problematic as defensive units that are literally untouchable unless you have the few specific counters that are capable of defeating them in your team. The burn damage mechanic is strong but not problematic because it can be circumvented just by playing correctly (if you know that an offensive unit is extremely violent you are not going to send a unit to enemy phase it unless you are certain of your tank capacity to win the matchup). It actually allows you to create better matchups for offensive units that lack strike power and precisely not to be blocked against stupid defensive units that are unkillable...

@@nhoriel The issue is that in the mode where it matters the most, AR, good enemy teams will give you no choice but to enemy phase their units.

@@segafreak2000 not realy... Do you even know the existence of E!Ike or A!Caeda ? Or even any Laguz Friend good user like L! F Corrin ? But the AR-D team are very easy to beat righ now and burn damage effects are absolutely not responsible for this. Any serious player will tell you that those who destroy the AR-D metagame are Galeforce teams, which are practically unmanageable. So I remain on my initial position which is certainly pretty unpopular but AT least real if you know a little bit about it... The burn damage effects are a good thing for the game and BOL4 which was created to counter it and which even has the audacity to destroy another game mechanic which was rather essential to manage certain stupid tanks (AOE damage) just make the meta worse

I genuinely laughed out loud hard when arden said "Ain't NO WAY I'm gonna die!" Then destroyed Lyon 😂

Try either Nemesis or Brave Dimitri next.

I love how just 1 skill turned D!Lyon in the biggest joke that there ever was in FEH

Beautiful ha-ha. I'm debating which tank is best for heal build. Its either Arden, Forsyth, or OG Hector. Also, if only sturdy surge and surge sparrow was defensive based instead of offensive, miracle builds would've been great.

So basically, over the last year, the meta shifted ~ 3-4 times, completely. Between pre-combat damage, ending the opponents turn, ludicrous amounts of true damage reduction (percentile damage reduction can and will simply be negated now) and now pre-combat healing, this game is nothing short of insanity by now xD

@@istvanlaszlokovacs7861 mostly the effects of New Year Seidr and valentine's Lyon, which stop certain units, similar to fallen Lyon's effect, but more proactive. ...and you could have more than one... As for the Arden, no idea. Probably with some effective magic/hexblade damage, or something. Breath of Life 4 is too new to know exactly what all will happen. Emblem Ike will be even more of a problem now, though...
