I have no problem with Allah, the Prophet and the Quran. Because I believe that Muslims understand what is right and wrong in today's world. That is why they portray Islam this way. I think that is commendable. But the problem is that Muslims do not accept what is right to follow in society, politics and history. I understand that Islam has certain boundaries and people want to follow them. But they should also accept people who want to follow different religions, convert to other religions, follow different ideologies.

There was a Filipina who used to work as a domestic helper in Pakistan. While she was working there, there was an adult man (very likely, 50 years of age) forcing this woman to "breastfeed" him. She sought help from our government to return home to our country, the Philippines, because she was experiencing swelling of her nipples from the old man who forced her to "suckle" him. Successfully, she returned home and she pledged she would never work as a domestic worker again in Pakistan nor in the Middle East. This was posted on a KZread channel of an investigative reporter. When I showed the ruling of Islam and the hadith about this incident, Filipino people (in the comment section) were flipping out of disgust! At the end of the day, I told them: "Yes... This is a rule from Islam!"

I’m a 58 year old retired Army Infantryman and fought in two wars in Iraq during my 26 years. From many Iraqi muslims I learned about the saying they have there; “women are for babies and boys are for fun.”…….that’s when I asked more about the meaning of that and started laughing. Maybe you can discuss this topic and what happens at the age of 29. Then there’s the camel urine. You can buy camel piss at every grocery store in Muslim majority countries since their prophet says it has health benefits, what those benefits might be, I have no clue. I heard a news report where a small store owner got in trouble because he was selling his own urine to the customers and labeling it as camel urine. Hilarious. Can you imagine as you leave the house for to go shopping, the wife says; “oh dear, don’t forget the camel piss and make sure it’s fresh!”. Lol.

What you ought to do is ask questions from the right sources and not just run with anything you see on youtube and then jump to conclusions. The breast feeding involved a boy who had just entered puberty. You can fairly easily verify this for yourself. Many of the people here commenting here saying that the person was a man, have deliberately misread the text to spread misinformation. While the text does say 'man' it did not refer to a full grown man. It was referring to a boy who had just entered puberty and was thus a "man" in the sense that he was capable of having sexual desires.

I’ve been reading a book about early sexual practices and religions. It seems clear to me that these practices are so than men get an excuse to have sex or indulge in sexual acts with women and children. If a god or prophet says it’s okay, you can do what you like - if you’re a man.

It is even worse! The verse was in quran and isn’t there anymore! Means it is not just disgusting but also proves that Quran is not preserved obviously! This is the complete meltdown of Islam! Sahih Muslim 1452 a 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with, her) reported that it had been revealed in the Holy Qur'an that ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated (and substituted) by five sucklings and Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) died and it was before that time (found) in the Holy Qur'an (and recited by the Muslims). If you want to learn how Muslims have no shame to lie post this under an Islamic video. They will say it is weak though it is sahih! Unbelievable!

Islam would be WAY more popular if they went with the adult breastfeeding, instead of Jihad. But no... they pick and choose what rulings of Mohammed they want to follow...

I know someone who believes suckling an adopted baby (that she would have adopted) would truly make the child her own and part of the family. I'm not saying this to mock as I think it is rather sad what justifications people go through to feel their actions are approved by a deity. As a person who was adopted I felt sad for this woman.

In Hinduism we do have this belief. It's not wrong or sad. It's for infants not for adults like in Islam. Also it is considered more of a God parent. If tomorrow a hired nanny breastfeeds she is considered an honory mother. Not the bio mom. Just like how if a step mom raises a child she is also considered equal to a bio mom.

Interesting the stepmother is rarely if ever considered equal to the primary mother if if she helps raise the children. My godchildren never saw their stepmom as equal to their Mother. The woman who birthed me will never take a role as mother to me as my step mother never did.

"Mother Father Teacher God" Mata Pita Guru Deivam is what we are taught. I think this depends on how we are raised. In western countries you call your extended family as aunts and uncles right? In India in certain languages we call them Periayamma Periyappa. Literal meaning is Big Mother and Big father. They are not my actual parents. They are my aunt and uncle. But we consider them honory parents. Ofc if extended family is bad, none of this will apply.

Interesting concept, sounds like a preexisting cultural rule of the society at the time. People didn't know about human biology, I can see why it would have made sense to the people at the time. Today it's a different story of course.

In Hinduism any infant we breastfeed or fed with our breast milk (There are women who donate breastmilk with the pump machine for infants whose mothers can't breastfeed) is considered our God daughter or God son. We become an honorary parent immediately and the child is also supposed to honor that person as their parent. Same goes for Men and women who help in raising the child to become proper person. That is why we consider our teachers as our parents too. Fall at their feet in reverance. The nanny who raises the child in a wealthy home is also considered a mother to that child. We don't need to give birth to that child to consider him or her our own child. But the breastfeeding rule is only for children. Not adults like in Islam 😂😂. I swear this cult is so strange. In Hinduism if we want to adopt someone into our family we just perform a ceremony. Recite prayers in front of Agni Offer gifts to Agni give the Intended person gifts and our family name etc. A woman can also accept a man who is not related to her by blood or is not her family as her family and a brother by doing a rakhi ceremony. A thread is tied to his wrist and he is considered her brother for life. He is supposed to protect her from all harm and her children will be his God nephew and God niece as well. If anything should happen to her and her husband he is to get direct custody of those children. And his wife will be obligated to raise the children alongside her own.

Women in many cultures will share breastfeeding duties so as to make sure their infants get good care. It's a matter of feeding the infant properly. It has nothing to do with making them relatives. Divorcing because you and your wife ate from the same place as infants is ludicrous.

I have heard it said Saudi officials actually suggest repairmen suckle so they can be related, I don't think that would work for the cable TV repairman, plumber or electrician here in the USA.

At 2:18 we are looking at a passage from Qoran that says "... it has been said you were suckled by the same woman..." So in Islam there is no rule regarding testimony. Among other people of the book there is a rule that testimnoy must be corroborated by two separate witnesses. Islam has no such rule?

This is an ancient tradition that predates Islam from around the world.

Note that (at least in English) the hadith says that tue woman was married to another man. Not got married, but was married. So it seems that she didn't have a choice in it.

A vid that perfectly illustrates the PR problems you will get if you take ancient texts too seriously.

The spark of the idea kind of make sense: if two kids were suckled and raised by the same wetnurse (at the same time), they are likely to have a sibling relationship even if they are not biologically related. Nursing and rearing kids is biologically and emotionally intimate, and if it was anything like in European cultures that practiced wetnursing, the children likely ended up emotionally bonding with their wetnurse rather than their distant mother. I could see people who grow up like this instinctively feeling revulsed at the thought of marrying each other and developing a cultural norm that foster siblings count as relatives. Kind of like how in modern society, marrying an adopted sibling is still considered incest. Of course, once you write that down and turn it into a rule where it is more important to follow the letter than the spirit, you end up with nonsense like this.

So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing 'azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah's Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah's Mes- senger (Peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.

But the guy and the sister were not related before, so I guess they needed to do it in the presence of a chaperone, isn't that so? This is the thing that convinced me that Islam is ‘man-made.’ Muhammad banned the good practice among the Arabs (Adoption) to marry his Adopted son’s (Zayd) wife (Zainab bint jahsh) who was also Muhammad’s cousin. To add injury to the wound had an entire verse defending this marriage (33:37) instead of revealing verses that would’ve timeless and more beneficial for the entirety of mankind.

Actually this verse made me believe islam even more. You might think I am insane but just think about it. Muhammad really going on to risk his prophethood to marry this lady who was his cousin whom he has seen a million times since his childhood? Also this marriage was arranged to zayd by Muhammad itself lmaoo. Just think about it. And how coincidence it is that this thing came aligned with him being his adopted son and her being his adopted son's wife? Its honestly a hell of a coincidence and Muhammad practically gains nothing from here. He could have married zaynab if he wanted right away. Just think about it.

This is indeed a pre Islamic custom. Breast bonded in early infancy was originally to foster close care between "castes" I believe. And was truly intended to uplift the breast bonded brother or sister into a well organized household. Too bad it got used in some kind of twisted way. As bonded brother brother or sister sister the fostered children's family benefited and they would have been eligible for higher status marriage and responsibility. Thank you for bringing this up. It is very old in vedantic cultures. And also I believe a way to legitimize flavored children of concubines. Yes, sad adopted children are classed differently. Gene pools deteriate quickly if too many 1st cousin marriage to keep land in family's inheritance. Thank you for posting.
