Mate, you should try around ashfield flats! You might get a nice flathead there too

Great video nice catch too, I was there a couple of weeks ago i had a lot of bites no hook up I was using a metal lure, went home try to unload my kayak off the roof of my and I hurt my back haven't been talking the yak ever since.

This is crazy so the other day we were just having fun I brought my rod and reel down and I had a whole pack of prawn going for bream all I got was blowies and on my last prawn I know I was going to catch a blowie but I caught a 50cm bream and it took 15 mins to reel in

Hi bud thanks mate. I've always used long shank hooks due to when I was younger using fresh blood worms for bream. Plus I think the long shank are better for prawns.

@@SaltyFishosStaySalty maylands armature boat building yard try that place salty. Found it yesterday. Bloody top spot. Right on the fence casting under the jetty. Saw the biggest mullets I've ever seen under there

Generally, I don't get any from under the bridge. They're definitely up by the rowing club jetty though.

Just hide any valuables in your car and lock it up. Theft is rife in the area unfortunately. But other than that, a nice spot to enjoy those warm summer nights - except for the mossies'. Take some repellent down with you. 😷
