Check out “the republic of freedom fighters” they’re the Breakwater guys next band. It’s a little more wild. Start with the “year of the rat,” then dive into their S/T album. Recorded in two takes live on a 4 track. But it’s phenomenal songwriting for a bunch of goofy drunk kids from Canada.

It's recorded how it's supposed to sound. The idea that the vocalist screams, yet we can barely hear them, is apart of the genre back then. Like the unnoticed screams for help many of us give out and seems like no one listens, or cares.

Unfortunately, Breakwater and their subsequent equally brilliant band “the republic of freedom fighters” are only available on KZread, unless you can find some used vinyl copies somewhere.
