I was best friends with my ex since highschool for 6 years and we got together in college. Was together for 4 years before i found out he was cheating on me with someone he just met for a few months... not gunna lie i spent a good 2 weeks crying 24/7. Had to crawl into my roommate’s bed a few times in the night because I couldn’t sleep 🤣 bless her kind kind soul ♥️ 1 year later and now sometimes i forget we were ever together. I still see him in class cause we go to the same college and take the same major but yknw, past is past. He is also still with the girl he cheated on me with. It really hurt me when i first found out but now, if being with her makes him happy, then i’m happy for him too. So guys, if you’re going through a tough breakup, trust me all you need is time. And good company.

The worst part about breaking up for me was instantly losing the comfortability and closeness of another person--something that usually took a long time to get. The idea of starting over with a stranger was so exhausting to me. I don't have any awkward break-up stories, but I do remember being in my twenties and just dating guy after guy who would want to break up, but didn't have the balls to do it. They'd just start behaving so badly, I had to break up for them. And then, they wouldn't go away. Calling, stopping by, all that crap. I don't miss dating! 😊

Found myself with a huge smile on my face by the end of the video. I’m 27 now and am the only single girl left in my pal group. I love this video so much! Chatty get ready videos are some of my fav, and I love some good girl talk, but I love that this is just positive and useful advice lady to lady!

Whilst I can't relate to break ups because I met my first boyfriend at uni, dated for 11 years, then got married 5 years ago...I really enjoyed this, I like how open you are, how you can laugh at yourself and I don't think saying you share a bed with someone you are in a long term relationship with is sending bad signals at all. I haven't had many breakups but after a breakup, it always hits me the most in the morning cause I've had to see my ex's in class or school and for some reason, I usually go into this self-improvement mode where I'm going to the gym more than usual and I write down self-affirming words which help . I know as I get older relationships will probably get deeper and I'll maybe handle things differently

My boyfriend and I had been on and off long distance for 6 years. We always spoke about living in the same country together (He lived in Germany and I lived in the US) so when I finally graduated college, I started looking for jobs in Germany (I had lived there previously for a year studying abroad) I finally was able to secure a job and packed up all my things and moved out there. I was so happy and excited to be making this big move forward and knowing we would finally be in one place at one time. He would also tell me the same thing and we even talked moving in together and eventually marriage. Well...sometime after being abruptly fired from my job for reasons that required legal intervention, as well as countless hours spent freaking out and searching for a new job to keep me in the country. My BF, upon returning from a month long trip to Vietnam, came to me and told he that he had had time to think while on holiday and that he had always felt that he didn’t really want to be with me and had doubts of me coming to Germany but because I was now out of a job, it would be easier for me to decide if I wanted to be there for myself or if I had only come there for us..... Little to say that I pack my shit right the fuck up and headed back to the US.
