The government went increasingly authoritarian when Hitler was elected. We have the executive branch openly creating laws and doing exactly the same thing. @@murmaider2 Firearms were confiscated in Germany especially if you weren't a party member. When they took the Czech Republic they targeted gun owners confiscating their firearms as well. It is common for any centralized government to do this it is natural for them. Germany is now very strict with firearms today. South Africa is conducting this as well trying to take private firearms from the general population.

It also has to do with clueless citizens that have never suffered from any crimes, they don't see a need for guns because they actually believe that the police will be there in time to save them. In regards to that I say look to Canada Canada takes away the right to buy pistols and their rights to defend themselves with firearms. Then when is a criminal crew going around door-to-door stealing people's key fobs by scanning them the police go on the record saying that if they come to your house run and hide. So what's next??? As a NAGR member and donor, who just signed and donated (again), I contacted my Rep and Senators on Saturday, leaving a message. Followed up, yesterday. Anyway, I believe any of the Republican "Pro-2A, But..." Senators who signed the "Common Sense" Safer Communities Act should be stripped of their seats or resign, as many have. Keep up the great work, NAGR!

Ya know, every time I see a video like this I get my birth year gun out, make sure it's not loaded, and hold it. It's an Italian Colt SAA copy made in 1963 by Armi Jager that I bought new in box in 1985. This pistol, more than any other, means freedom from the state.
