Here is the thing... If he (Trump) hadn't delayed this thing two years out with his legal loopholes the trial would have started long before now. It wouldn't change the facts though. Who am I to judge this man? I'm not a legal analyst, nor a lawyer, or have any experience that would matter. I'm just a 'Sgt. Snuffy' at this point. But when all the evidence points towards you committing a crime then you cannot call something a sham. Senator Johnson is in a public position, it is shameful that he should use that platform to attempt to defend a criminal defendant in trial for his own (Trumps) crimes. Regardless if he says he is there in his own capacity he made a public statement defending Trump and that could sway jurors.

We have to be careful and not let things divide us now. Dems are great at helping to divide us too. Even posing as Republicans sometimes on social media too. Dems stick together no matter what & thanks how they beat us. When you don’t have full control of the House & Senate it’s hard to get anything done. So we have to stick together and never vote for any Democrat. And we don’t need to upset independents out there for a new speaker now.
