I disagree, he asked heated, opinionated questions & made statements. The 33M $ salary doesnt matter the question should be what did the CEO do to deserve 50% raise? "elimitating safety procudures" and "cutting back jobs" statements that Hawley made would've been much more powerfull if he instead would have said "you eliminated 100 safety procudures" , "quality engineers jobs reduced by 20%" but sadly he didn't really do enough digging it seems.

@@itay51998well he asked what his salary was, then stated it’s a 45% increase, subsequently asked what he did to get such a raise while safety is cut, planes fall out of the sky and the victims of recent crashes family was there to show the people they have to miss. Sounds pretty solid. He got heated because the CEO doesn’t know answers to a lot of questions a real CEO would have the answer to. This is a fall guy, hence the “I don’t know the answer to that” he replies with that statement several times during this questioning. If you’d lost a family member to a guy earning that money and actively making sure you never know why they died, you’d be heated too. He has to talk to those people, the CEO obviously doesn’t

At $33 million, would his life change one bit if he took, say $27 million, and brought salaries up. Pilots should be at 250-300K, mechanics at 150 k . . . i guarantee none are. These companies are so greedy and delusional about their employee compensation, and yet the CEOs don't have the skills to do any of their jobs and are only concerned with their own pay, and it's outrageous and not proportionate to the work they do or skills they have.

@@anonymoushypersphere9093 I'd say they don't have the skills to do most of the jobs there that they're paid 2800 times more than, engineers, architects, lawyers, mechanics, pilots, upper management, middle management. Most don't have any skills to run a business because this past year the vast majority received stock buy backs leaving their companies with no liquid assets. They have skills at lining their own pockets at the expense of the business they're charged with running. The guy running Boeing is incompetent and worse than most. But, that's why they're very vague about their job duties, which are starting with a workout and $75 breakfast at the company's expense, arriving after 10 AM, playing golf,, taking 3 hour lunches on the company's tab, sitting in a meeting where upper management reports what work they got done, meeting their mistress at a 5 star hotel in a suite the company pays for by the month, playing some raquet ball, eating a 5 star dinner on the company's tab, going home in a 2025 Rolls Royce the company paid for and then deciding if they need a 12th yacht or an 18th vacation home because the 25 car garages they have on the other 17 is getting too small, before deciding on all of the above because this year they'll just order another stock buy back that decimates their company and takes their income from 18 million to 35 million. They treat a business they're charged with running like their own personal candy store, while at low wage employers like retail and service, the government subsidizes it because the non-corporate employees all qualify for government benefits despite working full-time.

If Congress would stop handing out grants, no interest loans, and subsidies he wouldn't get a 45% pay raise.
