It's still a poser. FCA was never able to finish the Baja 1000 with it like Ford did when the Gen 2 first released. It's a hella of a truck for 1/4 mile runs and that is about it...I think they should have made the TRX the next Viper truck and just went street with it... If you're gonna spend all that time one upp'ing the Raptor then dont you think they should have done what the truck was designed to do ?? Baja 1000

Go look at when the Gen 2 released before it ever hit the dealership they took it to Baja and barely finished in a stock truck. And last time I checked they havent released a Raptor Bronco yet...who cares if the Bronco didn’t finish it’s a Rubicon trail rig not a Baja truck. Anyways my point you built a truck for a race you never attempted. Hmmmm

it def does have the 5.2sc due to that the raptor now has a totally different frame than anything else. So it was said at the last Ford dealer meeting that they were having a hard time building enough of the gt500 motors to keep up with demand and it will only get harder after March.

I think it's a good idea for Ford to have the 3.5 HO Ecoboost as an option. There's nothing wrong with it unless you're EXTREMELY traditional. That being said, the V8 is a bit of a must, and I wouldn't mind seeing Ford offer a (yet unseen but easily done) high output variant of the 7.3 and then maybe the Predator. IF Dodge wants to have a compensation contest that no one asked for or needs, Ford may as well show them how to do it.

I don't know, I loved the song choice. I'd be more focused on the music than the actual truck if Ram went Metallica. Besides, you probably wouldn't hear that intoxicated supercharger as well either. Maybe they were letting the awesomeness of the TRX speak for itself. It was so much more cinematic. That's just me though.

I like the tail lights of the new Raptor and the F-150 in general, they took inspiration from the 2014 1st gen model Raptor, which was such badass truck as well. The front also looks menacing and overall it looks absolutely incredible! Cant wait to see the full reveal tomorrow! Definitely exited for the third gen!

I am totally satisfied with the 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.3l 2.7, 3.0, 3.5l EB engines n Escapes, Edge, Explorers, F150s etc but for Mustangs, Raptors, Ford GT big NA, SC V8 are MuST... Anyway these are low volume products compared with mainstream machines.. so why not go all out on these. Biggest fool out of big 3 is Ford. They ve some f best engines, but worst product managers.. always gives stupid combos

@@raionshishi8290 Yes.... but its not sustained.. The lack of competition is the big reason why Ford was making progress. With TRX in scene Raptor is history. With C8 Corvette at bay Ford GT is over expensive and not worth. Its all going downhill for Ford. Ford stock is just 33 USD while GM is 58 despite Nikola issues. Shows Ford is underperforming despite having best individual components which are foolishly sorted for customers. Ford actually needs 1.5x current sales volume to be best of Big 3.

Ford and stellantis have been killing it with the bronco to fight the wrangler and the trx to fight the raptor

Ok... I would take a raptor over a Ram ANY day BUT the Ram TRX video was badass and the song choice was badass and I thought it was edited well and looked awesome. Its mysterious, dark and menacing and very cinematic, Exactly how you want a new truck to be revealed.

If this trucks $ 90 grand American then u have to know it's going to be at least $ 150 to $ 160 grand Canadian . No joke folks .

I love them all. Great time to be a gear head. I own 1 F150, 1 Silverado 1500 Z71 and 05 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Duramax.

But will said 5.2 V8 compete with the supercharged 6.2 hellcat motor?

I’ve had 2 Raptors an 18 and a 20 model. Both needed timing chains at 15k miles. The ecoboost is crap!

the rtx didnt need a bad ass song because the truck was already bad ass by its self....

Ford needs a single cab short bed raptor r as well
