It is ridiculous of Kellerman to say Wilder should have been given the chance to fight on, the poor guy was existing on bravery alone, he had no energy for several rounds, he was exhausted and battered and in shock...it should have been stopped earlier, especially bleeding profusely from the mouth and the ear, what do want to see, permanent brain damage? Sometimes you have to save a guy from his own bravery.

Dale Blakemore very clearly gave him every second to recover. It looked scary how stolen Wilder's soul was. Idk but he looked gone for five rounds to me. Saw it and truly felt like it was over by the 3rd round latest

Agreed - at the end of the 6th wilder could barely keep his head up and his cornerman who threw the towel was trying to convince him to let him throw it then. It was a very good stoppage which prevented what could have been a really nasty end to the fight.

His other trainer did the right thing. If it was up to his head trainer he would be in a coma right now smh. Trying to show authority when your fighter was clearly outclassed, hurt and couldn't fight back. He might have been saved from death last night due to the trainer that threw the towel who was actually a world champion at one point and knew what he was seeing. His head trainer was just clueless. Sometimes you have to save a fighter from himself no matter what he says. If he ended up in a coma or dead it would be nothing but regret from all parties. So good on that guy for throwing the towel.

Boxing is much more than power....he was close to losing the last few fights until his power saved him. Tonight he was exposed. If AJ fights him aggressively coming forward.....HE WILL EMBARRASS WILDER AS WELL & STOP HIM WITHIN 6 ROUNDS....I hope casual fans lost a grip 💵 betting on him

No he just proved anyone with a brain right, he was always a bum that never fought anybody, he has a record that has literally nobody on it, as soon as he did fight someone decent he got beat twice. Literally the most decorated fighter ever with no real substance, with 2 top 10 fighters in 42 fights, completely wrapped up in his own hype believing he was a killer but is really a one trick pony. Holding the title hostage not fighting the legitimate title contenders and cherry picking easy fights, sadly the cherry picking calculations against fury went horribly wrong twice.

@trufiend138 Yes it is what do you mean? He's what 34 or 35? There's no changing styles at 34-35, it is what it is now. And id say his team did a great job with what they had within the time they had but what they did wrong was they also drank the coolaid that everyone else did, believed in that right hand so much that they never even developed anything new for him. Plus a guy who starts late in the career almost never competes with a guy with an extensive amateur experience, been boxing since he's like 4 and beaten people like Klitschko in almost his prime basically, thats special. Adonis Stevenson also started late in his career and all his career ducked the mandatories and then comes across a guy with an extensive amateur experience and gets put in a coma, imo Badou Jack also beat him. Thats why its so hard to beat guys like Fury, Mayweather, Lennox even Holyfield because they had huge amateur experience where Holyfield went to the Olympics, Mike Tyson went to the Pros became the youngest Champ but when came across Holyfield was beaten badly both times. You guys give too much credit to one punch if that were true Floyd wouldn't be 49-0 *ain't counting McGregor because he dont count to hardcore fans*

Lennox lost to a bum as well, sometimes you rest on your laurels and get sloppy, that was Joshua first fight outside of UK and it went terribly. He avenged the loss, not spectacularly but he got is. Wilder didn’t avenge anything, he’s lost both fights, he won 2-3 rounds in 19 rounds of boxing, because he’s a puncher, not a boxer. Joshua can actually box with the power that he has not just throw a wild right. Styles make fight and fury would have a tougher time with Joshua, although I think Fury would win. Joshua needs to leave the camp he’s with, I’m not sure why he hasn’t, I’ve been saying this for years now, he would improve ten folds if he went to an elite camp, but he’s too loyal. I hope the fury vs Joshua fight happens, because wilder ain’t beating either of them.

Anyway back to the point, I would imagine this would make the area more susceptible to bleeding from being punched. I would put my money on this being the cause of the bleeding.

Teddy said it right, Wilder got exposed and it looked like he doesn't know how to fight. He looked dazzled and didn't know what to do. Fury is on another level and completely rag-dolled Wilder. And those were not pillow-fists that battered Wilder's face. It's the problem with boxing in general where the best rarely fights the best and when they do sometimes someone gets exposed. Praise goes to UFC where we know who are the baddest men in each division and looks like they have pushed the promoters in boxing to be more willing to set up mega fights to find out the king of the division. Nobody wants to see the champions beat up 10 sub-par opponents just to extend the reign and stay undefeated and people have started to move towards ufc just for that fact because they know they will get to see the fight that needs to happen.

SO MUCH BS TALK IN THE USA. If America bigs up their fighter enough, they all believe it. And this is not just reserved for the sporting world. This perpetual self absorbed nonsense though, and yet the ignorant Septics just suck this BS up like spaghetti. The reality is, Deyonce won his previous fights against absolute nobodies, this is evident when you watch his last two fights against not even a peak conditioned Fury in the first fight, the latter fight Deyonce didn't stand a chance and this was clear from the very start. A one punch wonder against a giant of a man with skills that can actually box and moves around the ring like a smaller man. Wilder was always going to lose, and he was also very lucky that the night didn't end tragic for him.

Regarding a third fight, Imo if Wilder fought the fight of his life he would still lose to a 100 percent Tyson, let alone a Wilder coming off a 1 sided humiliation. The mental effect and the manor of defeat, might be too much to comeback from. The blueprint has been exposed, and a further down the road Kronk trained Tyson would make it even more clinical. Tyson for me is better than Wilder in ever dept but one, not just technically but also in his makeup as a man, the guy is teak tough with ring smarts to match, a incredible engine and a inability to quit. I hope Wilder has made enough money with this fight to be able to turn down a third fight. As for Tyson an eventual fight with Joshua is what every fight fan should want to see. Long live the king!!

It would be more of the same in a rematch. Wilder doesn't respect the game. Never took the time to get better and never studied the history. He didn't even know what the green belt that he owned meant. Kudos to his camp for getting him this far without getting exposed for his amateur IQ and technique.

Deontay Wilder lost fight at press conference when he initiated a push he did not budge Tyson Fury. Whereas, when Tyson pushed Deontay Wilder; strategically, it was a center gravity push which Deontay could have fell off stage. This is when Deontay Wilder lost his fight. It took his heart. In conclusion, he needs to open up his mind to a trainer skilled in the art of boxing. He needs to listen which involves not being head strong and perform his new skills.
