It's not race swapping simply because a non-white actor is cast in a role, where race has nothing to do with the character or performance. That's just an anti-woke talking point to further white supremacy, guys. Sometimes the better actor for the role isn't white, and that's okay.

I wouldn't waste JCE on a one off character, put him as either prof. X or Doom. For Magneto... they would have to recon his WHOLE back story, which in these times would put Magneto way past his prime to be ANY kind of threat. Marvel comics has a real dilemma on updating origins for golden age characters. The 90's was about the cut off time for anyone born in the 1920-30's

If he's not in FF as Galactus, the other option is Blade as Lucas Cross or Varnae. Doom is Reed's contemporary, so he's unfortunately too old for that role. He'd also be too old to play Charles or Magneto, since the rumor is they're going with the First Class again, so those actors would need to be in their early 40s, tops.

After watching him as Moff Gideon in Star wars, I CAN NOT see him wearing a mask! Dr Doom is out! I just can't see them covering him up!? I think maybe Galactus maybe... The mask doesn't fully cover his face! I think he'll be best at Magneto or Professor X! 🤨 Magneto also wore a helmet, but took it off at will. He has publicly stated his favorite character, one who he'd love to be, is Xavier!? And though he said he's not recently, we've seen plenty of deception in the past! Esposito's dark humor, I could totally see him coming back later when someone asks him "I thought you claimed you weren't going to be Xavier?" And his response be something along the lines of "did I say that? That must of been an alternate me in another time line, I never said that!" I really want to see The MCU's X-Men start from the First Class so I wouldn't prefer Giancarlo Espocito as Professor X or Magneto since that would be older versions of them. So I'd think Galactus really suits him and would prolly ace the role. His voice would definitely bring an excellent touch to the supervillain role.

AS far as the X-Men go, I'd go somewhere in between, they're all already done the Young X-Men with 1st Class & The older X-Men with Hugh Jackman's X-Men. As far Giancarlo Esposito who I do like as an actor, but I can only see him as Professor X, if he was a variant, I can live that. I can maybe see him as Galactus or the Voice at least, if Marvel is going with a true Galactus this time, since he'd have to be as big as the Celestials so maybe he'd to be Computer Generated. If not Galactus maybe Esposito could play the Blue Marvel, he kinda has the look for him, just not bulky enough but I'm sure they get him a body suit or fix it with CGI.

Giancarlo is a way better villain than good guy imo. I don't think he'd make a great Prof X but a good one. Probably a great Doom, Sinister, Magneto or even Galactus.
