I fell in love with both the Khelermorph and the Locus when I saw their cards. The whole kill team has flavor and personality thanks to abilities and ploys, most of them tied to concealment and cover. That duelist ability on the Locus is amazing, I hope they give additional tools like this one for melee specialists. I like fighting in Kill Team, but sometimes it feels bad to have a supposed expert die against chaff. This also applies to weaponry. If every chainsword in the game had ceaseless they could be considered an option sometimes. In general I'm getting hyped to see some of my favorite armies get bespoke kill teams after this one.

Great Video! What do you think about the matchup against harlequins? I had no games against but fighting 8 bodies who are not very shootable, have flying and wreck in meele sounds tough

They seem good and flexible! The units cant take much dmg, but the ploys and synergys within that killteam make them survive long enough to do some serious damage to your opponent, maybe even fast enough to cripple them turn 2 or 3 so they cant outscore you anymore. they seem to fight in KT like they do in the lore... i feel like they are really fluffy and also punchy!

After seeing the team for the first time I instandly ordered a Kellermorph and a Locus. I allready have some neophytes and the Sanctus Sniper, so I will be ready to go when my WD arrives ^^

Wish this was released in a podcast so I could listen when driving without killing my phone battery with a video. Love the content though!

Love your videos but I have a suggestion - I think it's great to have the data sheets/pdfs up on screen that you're talking about, but even at 1080p setting on youtube the text is compressed and unreadable which makes it kind of frustrating to watch. Just trying to give honest constructive comments. Love your channel, keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the breakdown. This might be a dumb question, but can a model intervene if it has already gone that turn? It doesn't seem to specify that it has to be a ready model.

What do I need to buy to run a wyrm blade team. Are Keller morphs and locus individual models sold seperately

I guess Sanctus Talon are different enough in role that they don't have to directly compete. The Talon clearly is an assassin type, going after a target, dropping them and disappearing. The Locus on the other hand is a more defense oriented bodyguard type. Also stun+lethal 4+ and balanced is clearly better than duelist if you ask me. It isn't as defensive (dropping only one instead of 2 dice before the enemy attacks) but with the pretty much guaranteed crit removing that dice is basically free.

Does equipment like "spotlight" for wrym blade mean I can shoot through heavy walls?

Admech Hunter Clade is a let down compared to this for flavor

Now the question is how to convert my start collecting box into the characters.

i am using the cawdor sniper rifle to convert my sanctus. magus can be converted into locus. i have a double of the primus so used him as my leader but he could make a convincing kellermorph

I like this but if they don't release a kill team box for this I won't be getting it. It'd be pretty expensive to put together

If you can, raid your bits box and make some proxies. I've been mixing all sorts from imperial guard and even fantasy with the neophyte box.

My initial impression is 180% from yours. My least favorite bespoke team to date. I'd rather stick with the Compendium list.
