NFL has given the Panthers, Jets, Giants, and Patriots a prime time game but Houston. Come on now this is bs, at least Flex the Texans vs Jets game since they wanna give NY a prime time slot. Flex that game over the Giants game that week.

For anyone who doesn't know this kid's backstory should really look into it and hear his story because it's heartbreaking but it also explains a lot about the way he carries himself and why why he is playing at this level. I'll put it this way at one point he was living in a storage shed okay..this is the kind of qb that even mahomes and burrow should be worried about.. it goes without saying but he is clearly driven.. there's also a story I heard how he met tank Dell during the draft and he told tank how he really liked how he played receiver and tank responded by saying well help me out put in a word for me.. and that's exactly what CJ did and the general manager did one of the smartest things I think you could do and that was to immediately show CJ that he had say in what kind of team and what team guys he wanted and they drafted tank dell and look at what that's turning into.. I say this a lot but I try to be careful when saying it but CJ does have a lot of the same qualities that I saw in Tom Brady.. a ultimate teammate a ultimate leader he has the work ethic in the drive he doesn't ever blame anybody but yet he always takes the blame and he is a man a very strong faith.. now now I don't go to church or anything like that and I do believe in God but that's about as far as it goes so I absolutely respect anyone who has faith and isn't afraid to show it and talk about it.. there is absolutely not one thing not one that you can't not like about this young man. I do not think even though he's getting a lot of coverage he's just not getting as much as he should for what he is doing.. I mean just a week or two ago he let a game-winning drive against a healthy Joe burrow in the Bengals and a Lou and a rumo defense that has been giving Patrick mahomes and other high quality QBs problems for years and CJ carve them up like a nice brisket.. if the Texans make it to the playoffs I feel sorry for the first team they play

Props to QB coach Jerrod Johnson for honing his footwork and disciplining his eyes. Really CJ puts a lot of reps in all his mechanics.

CJ getting picked a few times at AZ will make him better!! If Houstons O lIne keeps working then the Texans are in for some winning seasons and the McNair family will be handing out tons of bonuses! Soon you will start to see some Players taking less money to come to Houston and then the Superbowls will happen.....Anyone else see LT working CJs blindside? Pro Bowl for LT!

He’s going to have off games, but still getting out with the W is really all that matters. He stayed poised, and made the throws he needed to make.

He will be the next TOP QB, I put it on everything. This guy is better than Brady, may not seem like it now but just give him some time. He will quickly clear Brady's entire career. I saw that in the college championship. He is just different.

His release is so quick and clean.

The fact that mahomes is still favored to win by Las Vegas standards the MVP after the Kansas City Chiefs have been held scoreless in the second half for three straight games and Lamar and CJ are not above my homes just shows that the MVP award has become a popularity contest and the NFL's board and commissioner want to give the MVP to the people's favorite player not the player who actually plays the best and is the most valuable to their team.. Lamar Jackson there's never been a quarterback asked to do more with less and if CJ Stroud wasn't on the Texans they would 1- 9 at best
