I do a lot of fishing around grass, so yes! A majority of the rods in my boat are heavy action rods for various purposes
You using 2 oz. Pretty universal or 1 or 1 1/4 oz?

Just depends how thick the cover is. I’ll start with a 1 1/2 and work my way up.
