Fei long’s stage is based off the tiger balm garden in Hong Kong

Yup, it’s a seriously wild place, most folks say you gotta see it for yourself, but you can get a pretty good idea if you look it up. Definitely unique!

I always asssumed it was some chinese restaurant. We had at least two of them that kind of looked a bit like this

i'd love to see a video like this one on Third Strike. In my opinion every stage is fantastic and the music for each stage is also fantastic. Elenas stage is like my favorite fighting game stage ever

I definitely want to sometime, I just felt like I HAD to cover SF2 first.
Feilong's stage is a park in Hongkong called Tiger Balm Garden He got the most badass move in all Street Fighter, that's his Dragon Kick . Although they could have designed his stage better because it really is confusing :( His theme on the other hand is No.1, it gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it Thank u for the video

I think that the bios for Fei Long is that he is like Bruce Lee (Inspired by Bruce Lee, I mean), a martial Artist turned Hollywood Actor, and that's probably what suited him, and to many Street Fighter fans and Fighting Game fans in general, it worked for him, and that's what made his character such a badass imo.
Reminded me of an school assignment punishment. We were supposed to cut a landscape out of a magazine and make ten observations. I didn’t turn it in so instructor decided to teach me a lesson and said make forty observations by tomorrow or deal with days of detention. I cut out a background picture of Deling City from Final Fantasy 8 and described every single thing with great detail!
You forgot to speak about the mansion in the back that I used to fantasize about taking Cammy in 😭
If Guile's stage is the work hard aspect of America while Balrog's is play hard, Ken is somewhere in between
The Russian text on the sign in the background of Zangief's stage reads: 'Запрещается смотретв детям' which means 'It is forbidden for children to watch'
I still believe that Cammy looks her best in this game :) When they designed sagat's stage and theme, they knew you will be stuck with him for a while.. I hated that bastard but now he's Awesome Great Video
Thank you for this, more like this please. I looked for an MvC stage origins video but no luck.

There are some other fighting games I wanna cover sometime in the future. Third Strike definitely being one of them. But I feel like the MVC games would be cool too, seeing all the different game worlds in one game.
Y'know, I used to misinterpret that guy with a camera on T.Hawk's stage, that when I first saw this guy and even though I played Super Street Fighter II constantly, I used to think that he was holding a cup in his hand either he was drinking hot Chocolate/Coffee/Tea while the music was playing in the background and enjoying the fight, I thought that it was too funny and hilarious to me. But then I realized, thanks to you, man, keep it up on your content, that he was taking pictures/recording a video, catching the action going on.
Great reviews bro! I like how intimately detailed you got ❤
Personally, the vibe of the Street fighter 2 games is my favorite. The amazing character design, the legendary music, the beautiful and diverse stages and places you travel to; nothing has come close to it IMO, and the sum of the whole is greater than its parts. When the first game came out, this was before we had the internet. Occasionally you could see something on TV, but most of the time what I would get to see about the rest of the world came from National Geographic magazines. They always showed such beautiful and seemingly magical places with interesting peoples and cultures. As a child your imagination runs wild about what it would be like to visit, and Street Fighter 2 captured that perfectly.
If you're fighting Vega 10/10 times, you're fighting for your life. Sure, it's for entertainment, but your life is on the line.
Feilong's stage status it's move when end of the match
10:03 I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's George Clinton in the background (legendary funk musician). The multi-colored braids are a giveaway and that's kinda how he would dress. Plus he's holding a microphone so he's probably singing while the fight is taking place..
As a Brit Cammy's stage makes me think wtf because you won't be seeing the Northern Lights in England. If the stage is the UK then it definitely imo looks like the Peak District with its mountains, hills, lakes and reservoirs. The castle gives me Peveril Castle vibes as its a castle that gives an amazing view of the peaks
Some of these stage were take from a charles bronson movie where he is a barknuckle street fighter. Ken harbor and zanguef factory are from the movie
for the sagat stage sunset they should have used the same wavy effect that they used for the aurora borealis on the cammy stage
Cammy's stage is my favorite of these. Everyone should still have a home stage My friend went to Thailand and saw a Buddha statue like Sagat's
T.Hawk's stage is actually a real place, the Hospicio Cabañas in Guadalajara, Mexico.
When I was little, I used to think Fei Long's stage took place in a mall because of the buildings in the background.
Not sure which version of this game you played. I had it on the SNES and the creatures on Fei Long's stage do move, at least I know they do on the victory screen
Pretzel is white gi Ken! Dope vid, I always loved Cammy's stage and theme but did not realize how pretty the vista was.

I'd like to explore some more fighting games in the future, particularly third strike. That game's stages have so much detail...
Should some guy be allowed to drink endlessly in a Soviet factory? I don't believe so, he'll be off to the gulag as soon as the KGB breaks in!
Street fighter alpha 2...I think it is worthy of one of these
Can't wait to see SF3, they really knocked it out of the park with that one

I agree, the stages in that game are BEAUTIFUL. I don't have any plans right now, but I feel like I need to get around to it sometime.
14:00 wow... this dancing woman in the middle. I'm astonished at the pixel mastery.
@13:05 Bro they move at the end, and this is Tiger Balm Gardens - how much research did you actually do? This next to Vegas & the reclining buddha is one of the easiest references to get!!
This game what you are reviewing ist Super Street Fighter 2. As a child I was a big fan of Street Fighter 2 and the SF2 Turbo version. I remember when this game came out, i was shocked 😀. The fighter-thumbnails appeared more in manga-style (what I really hate), the new sound-effects was awful and the modified background-music of these stages was also terrible. I still hate it 😀
it's her elbow btw
With ryu's stage i always wondered what the literal platform you are fighting on is exactly. Also i have no idea why cammy's stage has the northern lights. they cannot be seen from England. Scotland, maybe.
are you sure vegas stage is a "club"?
