What's really my biggest take from this game is that CC doesn't have to score 30pts to get the win. 12 assists gets her teammates easy shots, sometimes wide open perimeter looks. Mitchell has flourished, and I'm happy that Mitchell is giving the ball back to CC, who has found her open again, so Mitchell can hit her shot. Jordan used to score 30 points, and the bulls still lost games. CC has brought a very mature game to the wnba, especially being a rookie

I am so sick of hearing her defense is weak like it' s a fact. She moves her feet, rebounds well. Her offensive prowess earns her the right to stay in in all crucial moments, What about a steal, now your best free throw shooter is not getting fouled. She's out of the game. Coach is horrible or cleverly sabataging her on purpose.

Also steals, blocks and rebounds are a part of defense and she’s INSTANTLY one of the best in ALL those categories as a 6 foot guard. All the on ball Bs is on the coaching staff. One of the things I noticed yesterday is that Britany Griner gets a lot of soft and easy “and 1” foul calls - almost hard to see an actual foul on the replay - meanwhile in the other games I watch the play is extremely physical with no calls made at all. While I am in complaint mode - what do we need to do to improve the replay capabilities on these broadcasts and also get the league to raise the level of consistency in the way they call these games? I think this would be a great role for Jon the Exaggerator to take on! This kid sells out the arena home and away and her team isnt even playing 500 ball. The revenue the WNBA has generated from Clark makes her the MVP of the league. Just wait until they replace Sides.

You need to remember CC beat UConn and her and she NEVER gonna let that ish slide ever. As for the knee jerk reactions to everything the team does, the team is young and learning under a microscope so give them some grace. Mitchell deserves all the praise for everything that happened in that game because she took a seat Inn the first half and responded like a leader in the second and she said we need to be willing to die on our swords every night which is cold af to say. Mitch has leadership skills but she’s also a crazy good scorer and it takes time to build trust especially with someone who hasn’t been in the trenches with you.
