You don't have to apologize for becoming heated at false teaching. Righteous anger is the correct response when someone is twisting scripture and blaspheming the Lord.

For sure.... been there, done that. When you care for the Lord and the Scriptures and see how people are being led astray and the pain and destruction that these false teachers are perpetuating upon the Body of Christ, some degree of emotion is to be expected. It's a sorrowful thing.

As someone raised in a structurally sound, Assembly of God era, a preacher's kid who backslid horribly, upon the prodigals return, I have been shocked at what has trickled into the church from charismatic circles. The Lord has been impressing on me simply, if it is not written in the Word don't believe it. You better get into the Word, though, you better know the Word, because false doctrine is everywhere, in every church setting. His Word is truth. LOVE HIS WORD! IT IS WRITTEN!!!

A friend sent your videos to me this morning as I’ve been really doing deep digging on the church after going through the worst year in the church of my life. For someone who grew up in the church, a word of faith church, and then lead intercession at two separate churches, I’m seeing so much deceit and corruption. I’ve been researching the NAR, ARC, Word of Faith, Maranatha, Hillsong, and Bethel. The churches have turned into businesses with occult practices. I want Jesus. I want to do what He said we needed to do in His word. Gather, share the gospel, sup together, and more. Good for you for talking about this. Now is the time.

As a former MorningStar student, I’m loving this series! Thank you for shedding light on this ministry and others that run in the same lane. I wish someone would have warned me about going to MSU all those years ago, but God (in His incredible mercy) removed me from that world several years ago. I’ve been a student of the Word ever since. Your comment about people trying to break depression off of you because you wouldn’t get drunk/high in the Spirit cracked me up. I can’t count the number of times that happened to me. I’m super quiet, so just about everyone in my class approached me at some point to “bind the spirit of depression.” That and timidity. (“Boldness, in Jesus name!! Shudabotahonda!”) Apparently you can’t be quiet and bold at the same time. Who knew? I’m praying that the scope of your channel continues to grow and that the Lord continues to use you to encourage former students like myself, as well as to deter prospective ones!

I have experienced this many many times. As if having a quiet gentle demeanor is not acceptable to God. It’s like they shame you. You have to be loud and be “bold” the way they see it needs to be. Very works based and you’re never good enough for God.

I so appreciate the spirit in which you share. It's clear you just have a heart for what's true. I can relate a bit to your story. . raised in church. . went through a bethel season of life in my early 20s, hungry for more experience. . . coming out of that The Lord exposed a lot of error and encouraged me back to the simple basics of the gospel. It came alive again at that point, but in the purest way. . and does every day again and again through the word and His still small voice. It's nice to hear others who have been through the same thing and witness TRUE faith just growing as roots go deeper into relationship with Jesus. No frills needed :) Keep sharing truth my friend, and thank you for your gentleness as you do.

You made a good point about people trying to break depression off of you because you weren't "drunk in the spirit". I've tried to tell people who wonder why so many Charismatic's join in with the craziness and that's a big reason. You're shamed by the entire group if you don't do as they do, and it's not a normal type of shaming. They will imply or outright accuse you of having demonic spirits or not even being saved, or filled with the Holy Spirit. It's nothing short of spiritual gaslighting and abuse and it makes people even more afraid of attending a church where these things don't take place, because it's constantly drilled into your head that they're "dead" and "religious". It's a huge blessing and miracle when people break free of that bondage for sure.

I was raised as a Southern Baptist. But in 1990 I really felt led to join a fairly charismatic church. I remember a few times I felt pressured to speak in tongues. But I didn't. No one ever forced me to, or anything. At one young adults meeting they went around laying hands on people to receive the gift. I actually wanted to it, just so I wouldn't feel left out. They were saying, "Just do it. Just start speaking. Just do it..." ?!? Anyway, I never received that gift, and I now know why. IT'S A GIFT! Not a REQUIREMENT of The Spirit. Anyway, that was my little experience

  • @SolaGratia.

    @SolaGratia.

@@bradorchard5828 At least you knew that much. I was raised being taught that if you didn't speak in tongues, you weren't even saved, so by the time we were adults and my sisters started bringing guys home to meet my parents, the men would be confronted and asked to speak in tongues with my father. If he didn't, or couldn't, he was basically out, but not before being prayed for and pressured to speak in tongues. In my church, they did it to pretty much anyone who didn't speak in tongues. Everyone would gather round and lay hands on them and told them to just say whatever sounds came to mind. They weren't allowed out of the prayer circle until the person at least tried it, and I can recall several people who ended up in tears, shaking and humiliated from not being able to do it. I always felt so horrible for them, as even being raised that way, I never felt right about it, so I'm glad you didn't end up at much church back then.

It's a good rant. Hello from Singapore! I'm currently in a church that is rather closely associated with Bethel. We sell their books in our bookstore, use their worship music and have leaders engaging in SOZO ministry for 'inner healing'. I'm glad I came across your videos. It reminded me of how such things need to be talked about in a loving manner - especially since I see many dear friends buying into the Bethel ideologies and practices. More importantly, it highlights the importance of really studying Scripture and knowing the Word in context so we can differentiate half-truths (or even outright lies packaged nicely) from the truth. Keep up the good work!

I don't remember how I found your channel but.... all I can say is WOW! I finally found someone who gets me and am so thrilled to know many Christians are leaving this toxic so-called Christian cult. I was raised under these kinds of "charismatic Churches" as you were. Churches that were on the same page as Bethel that sought out miracles, signs, and wonders. "The Toronto blessing". We followed people like the Copelands, Joyce Meyer, Georgian and Winnie Banov, Heidi Baker, Benny Hinn ect... I have been on over 6 missions trips with the Banov's (they personally know me and my family) and even went to Nicaragua with Benjamin Dunn and His wife (I was about 12 year old at the time). I remember that album you mention about the weird scripture drunk song and I remember specially being on a missions trip with them after spending hours while with our team healing the sick in the garbage dumps of the city, we were forced to listen to that entire album with him on the way back to our 5 star hotel... yes, we stayed in a 5 star hotel on our "mission trip". Everyone in the bus getting "drunk" with him...except me of course. I even would have the same experience as you mentioned with people being titled with the "spirit of depression" whenever I didn't participate with them. By the Grace of God, I was sucked out of this, found what the true Gospel is and am with a Bible believing Church. But sadly my parents are still in it. Deeply in it. Pray for them! Keep exposing these churches. Keep sharing your story! God is using this and will continue using this to reach people. Thank you for sharing your testimony! God Bless you!

Thanks for sharing these. I started looking into Bethel about 7 years ago I guess cuz my daughter was potentially going to live with a family affiliated with Bethel but from a nearby state. She ended up doing a stint with YWAM in New Zealand and Uganda and I saw on their YWAM webpage that they seemed to have some tie in with a local church that seemed NAR related. I had all sorts of bells and whistles about this but she was determined to go and I had not yet realized the spiritual discernment God has given me. I could not articulate to her my hesitation at that time so being the headstrong girl she was, and over 18 and on her own, she went. She had crazy encounters and had her first panic attack and anxiety attacks while there. Went on to a Christian college and dealt with depression, which was SO not her. I look at that stint as having derailed her faith. She had 3 friends who died by the time she was 21, the last being a best buddy who committed suicide and she's solidly now in the enemy's camp. Breaks my heart but she won't talk to me about anything spiritual. It started with being involved with the uber-charismatic movement so yes, I'm a bit bitter towards them and all they lead astray. They are playing in a spiritual world that they have no understanding of. I saw a video of Heidi Baker literally doing incantations in a service with Bill Johnson in the background and a young man was writhing around her feet in agony, CLEARLY possessed by a demon and she claimed he was filled with the holy spirit. I was yelling at my computer over that one. SO dangerous. Stay. Away. From. Bethel.

Long story short: I was saved in '83 after being raised Lutheran. I started watching Christian TV (where I got saved) and plugged into all of these Prosperity Gospel people-Copeland was one of them. Being such a baby Believer, who was biblically illiterate-I bought everything they were preaching, because it sounded so good. It took many years-over 20 to finally break free of that doctrine. It's so sad to see so many young people getting sucked into that because their leadership endorses it. Thanks for shining a light in this false teaching!

Thank you so much for your transparency. I was raised as a Southern Baptist but had a wild teen and early adulthood until my early 20s when my grandmother led me to fully accept Jesus as my savior and surrender my life to him. Shortly after I got involved in a word of faith charismatic church and dove headfirst into teachings from Copeland, Duplantis, Parsely etc. I would spend hours working as a seamstress listening to their tapes and confessing my faith words. Ultimately I believe this deeply damaged my faith and trust in God when my alcoholic husband who I’d been praying for years for died suddenly of undiagnosed cancer and I was left a widow with a 4 yr old. People were agreeing with me for his complete healing and in some ways I actually believed my own prayers of “make him change or take him home” had caused his death. I became a prodigal soon after and like a scared and wounded sheep ran fast and hard away from my shepherd. To the point that I became deeply involved in the swinger lifestyle with a man until I couldn’t run from God anymore. Praise God He has redeemed me and through much repentance and renewal I have returned to the fold and the man has had a heart change as well. All that to say I am currently rethinking everything I thought I knew about the Bible and my relationship with Christ. The error of the confessions and affirmations I’m seeing now almost shame me… but for the blood of Christ!

As a former BSSM student, I absolutely relate with everything you're saying. People really wanted me to "get drunk in the spirit" and not once did I ever get that. It felt like everyone was "spiritually performing" to get approval from all the leaders and teachers, I was just constantly confused by all the vague doctrinal mumbo jumbo, I was like "uh guys... I came here for Jesus, the Holy Spirit and The Father, and vulnerable conversations and prayer... not a drunken laugh fest" Sorry, I'm ranting. It was just such a surreal moment in life. I’m a former student too, I hold a lot of what they said in tension, because I have seen a lot of my friends that went to school with me abandon their faith when I thought they were more solid in their faith than I. It’s caused me to question their validity and read the Bible without their teachings as my biases. I still hold a small handful of the leaders in high regards because of personal interactions with them, but when I saw them have Copeland speak that night, I was extremely saddened. I honestly would’ve better against you saying they’d never bring someone like him to the church to speak; but hearing the crowd cheer, agree with his teachings, and affected by him has severely changed how I view the church and leadership. I couldn’t even watch the whole things. Thanks for speaking to this and sharing your thoughts.

One of the things that struck me was how similar of an experience i had regarding not being consumed by the hysteria that is common at these kinds of churches. I was never able to be "slain in the Holy Spirit", experience "holy laughter", etc. For a while i thought there was something wrong with me. In doing my research, ive been able to learn that my experience is hardly unique. Still have family in this "cult" so ive been researching as much as i can about Bethel and churches like them.

My daughter was pulled into the Bethel doctrine several years ago and eventually moved to the area of Bethel. She thought highly of the Johnsons. But something happened, and she began to see, first hand, how Bethel was closely associated with the Masons and finally withdrew from the Bethel. My daughter is an RN and was working the floor of the hospital where Mrs. Johnson lived out her final days. This seemed to have an impact on my daughter because in the past, she had such a reverence for the Johnsons and believed that they could heal the sick.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and calling these things out.. my husband and I left a Global Legacy church in the Portland area a couple of years ago. We had been attending their BSSM satellite school for 3 years beforehand and were very involved.. It’s nice to hear all of this from another person who was in it. And it is absolutely a younger, hipper version of Word of Faith theology. Copeland is simply passing the baton.

Thank you for the oh so accurate "rant." A common denominator with all of these false teachers is "self." They use stories about themselves (airplanes, cars, healing, etc.) as a demonstration of "faith", yet their stories are about "self." As with their "gospel," it is all about exalting self, promoting self, elevating self, a "calling" for self, a destiny for "self"...God has a great destiny for "YOU." YOU too can have all the selfish desires you can dream of. Wouldn't it be an amazing thing if folks who vehemently defend their favorite false teachers would equally fight to defend the unadulterated, uncompromising, infallible Scripture??!! Yet those with itching ears desire the twisted Scripture which exalts "self" above God and above His Word. Oh wait, I believe I read about a guy somewhere...Lucifer. Satan HAS exalted his throne above The Most High as he sits in the temple of people's minds and hearts. It is there where he declares himself to be "like God." And you are correct in that Copeland seemed to govern or censor his speech in regards to "little gods." Copeland is a 33 degree mason who learned the "craft" from his 33 degree mentor Oral Roberts. Kenosis, Gnosticism and a plethora of other Luciferian worshipping teachings are woven through Masons, Mormons, Word of Faith, NAR, et. al. Satan has inverted The Gospel and the Laodicean, Last Days church has forsaken the One True Living God for a cheap imitation. The pinnacle of such worship will culminate in the Apostate Church who will welcome, support and promote The False Christ...who WILL be a perfect imitation. Doesn't that par well with Copeland's "doctrine" about Adam being the perfect, same sized, mirror image of God?! The False Adam, imitating the Last Adam (Jesus Christ), will be that false signs and wonders, miracle working "Christ." The great delusion! I did watch the 2 hr. message at Bethel. I will give credit where credit is due: gotta admire that kind of stamina in an 86 yr. old! 😂

I kept thinking... you call yourself an evangelist, but not one word about Jesus or our need for a savior. The last 30 seconds he tossed out a brief invitation to "accept Jesus" but no information about WHO Jesus is, man's fallen state or our need for a savior. All I could do was shake my head in wonder.

Youre right Gail. This is why discernment ministries are so important. Unfortunately a vast number of church pastors do not teach their congregants to be biblically literate. The Bible doesn't take precedence on Sunday mornings. When a pastor doesn't shepherd his herd we end up with people who know nothing of the gospel or what scripture teaches being blown by every wave of doctrine. And thinking they are Christian. Though they don't know the Christ of scripture. For everyone in a church with a faithful pastor who cares for his flock we should really recognize how blessed that is. I'm praying the scales fall off the eyes of the blind. And I'm confident God will expose every charlatan

True in regard to prosperity ministry money raking.... but Paul also had grave errors in regard to the use of money. He would have done greater things by taking tithe (working as an evangelist teacher full time instead toiling as a tent maker); and by gathering offerings for the elders at Jerusaslem he gave approval to a heirarchy-based belief system. Remember Jesus lessons to counter the 'who is the greatest' problem that plagued the disciples.

@Justin Fair I want to start with saying I may not be following what you're saying about (I'm assuming the apostle) Paul not taking money. it's completely speculative to say whether or not Paul would have had a more effective ministry if he was a full-time minister and took money from those he ministered to. Obviously, it was totally justifiable if he made the decision to take money to fund his ministry full time, but if we don't have a clear "prescriptive" passage that says ministry is always more effective when we do it full time, I'm going to say Paul knew what he was doing and the Lord used him specifically to reach people that might take issue with him financially burdening those he ministered too. I'm interested to hear what scripture you might be thinking of that led you to that conclusion. All, all of this is meant in love. Either you or I may need correction in this, and it would be wrong to not engage with each other if there's a chance we can grow together!

Amen to that spirit of discussion. I guess the 1st proof (if you'll have it) is that the work was begun by the disciples and Paul but was never finished. The work? Ending the controversy between Lucifer & God; and bringing salvation to ALL according to the desire within God's heart. The seeds of destruction of the ministry of the disciples (in all ministries from that point on - unto our time and into the future) are in the lusts of the heart. James 1:13-15. So there remains a great work to be done. A work that Enoch and Elijah are involved with… So laying out the case by principles, drawn from Bible verse and some by bible verse. PAUL undoubtedly was taught by God. Up until his salvation, SAUL was doing what he thought was God's work with diligency born of fury. But at the stoning of Stephen he was convicted by Stephen's behaviour. Saul couldn't love his enemies like Stephen. And the conviction grew - yet he kicked against the pricks (of conscience). But then while on the road to damascus, on a mission to destroy the lives of many followers of Jesus. he was convicted unto salvation (as shown by his baptism). Meanwhile the disciples had many misconceptions of the kingdom and even the meaning behind the words and acts of Jesus. The desire for supremacy - who was the greatest - which was gotten rid of by the main disciples during the 10 days of dedicated prayer following them witnessing Jesus ascension into heaven (and witnessing Jesus ressurection and the resurrection of a multitude of dead sons of God [martyrs i believe] who appeared to many throughout Jerusalem and who were also taken to heaven at Jesus ascension). The disciples also thought that to follow Jesus into Martyrdom was expected - or a thing to be desired. BUt really only Jesus ministry involved sacrifice of an innocent. John the baptist & Stephen provoked the leaders and priesthood resulting in their death. Peter thought it great that he be crucified upside down. And Paul also headed deliberately into martyrdom. Acts 20:22 - 25. i know you will see my face no more. [Phil 1: 21-23. To die is gain. God is the creator of life. Death is not the ideal ministerial pathway, but God will use what we offer to best advantage]. Further Acts 21:4. ...who said to Paul through the spirit that he should not go up to Jetrusalem. [1st warning]. Acts 21:10 - 14. The prophet Agabus 2nd warning to Paul. It was a great waste of a fabulous life. So Paul has some things happening that were going to limit his work - such as his unnecessary death. Now Paul and the believers still operated on heirachy-based / organised belief system; Jesus had taught the exact opposite to this. John 4: 20 - 24. Matt 18:20. Matt 20: 25. They held Jerusalem and the elders (especially James the brother of Jesus) in an exalted position, yes they worshipped Jerusalem and the disciples. And Paul not wanting to create schism between himself (and his radical ministry to the gentiles ) and the elders & Jewish Christians who still clung to the circumcision (after all Abraham's seed were to be circumcised - right? as proof of their heirship...all that was before the ordinances of the sanctuary and rulings & advices given to Moses) which they hotly disputed with him...forced him against good judgement (conscience) to shave his head under vow, and took part in the Nazarite ordinance with four others, confirming that he kept the law. Thus he was made to recant by the elders. This caused problems in the understanding of those he was working for later Acts 24:5 - he is a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarites. So to help this evident problem Paul took a large booty of offerings to Jerusalem. To convince, sway and appease them. But that conviction is the Holy Spirit's job. Better course was in the letter to the Romans 10:1. He prays that Israel might be saved. Romans 11:14 if by any means i may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh (Jews) and save some of them. What better way than by taking tithes. Conviction of our fallen state (as sons of Adam) leads to salvation. Conviction of our sinfulness (as reborn sons of God) leads unto righteousness. See Elijah & Enoch as examples. Acts 24:17 - in his defence before the High Priest: Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings. Romans 15:26. Macedonian and Achaians made a contribution to the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It has pleased them very much; for their debtors (the poor of Jerusalem) are they (the gentiles). Offerings for the poor. Great. Many wealthy jewish followers gave up their means for the cause and the good of other believers. No problem. Although I wonder whether the poor gentile believers welfare was secondary to the Jerusalem believers - but that's only a wonder... 1 Cor 16:1 - 3. concerning collections for the saints. I have given order to the churches, to lay up money on the 1st day of the week..as God has prospered him. Now tithe belongs to the person who brought you to the point where God could save you, and nurtured you until you stood in your own strength with God. This direction of Paul’s is questionable. The 1st tithe of those that Paul worked with unto salvation belonged to Paul. Others who brought sons of Adam to salvation deserved tithe to be paid to them, so that the ministry could flourish. Instead means were diverted to Jerusalem. And through his writings and influence he greatly shortened his hand. Remember Daniel saw in vision, that from the order to rebuild Jerusalem the daily sacrifice and the sanctuary (understanding about grace, forgiveness and sanctification) will be trodden under foot for 2300 years (days), which is well past Paul's day. So during Paul's time it was still trodden under foot...even in the believers' understanding. Paul in necessity worked as a tentmaker Acts 18:1-3. 20:33 - I coveted no man's silver or gold. Yes, we don't minister with the objective of making money, but to win lives to God. Philippians 4: 16 NKJ. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 1 Tim 5:18 - You shall not muzzle the oxen while it treads out the grain. and the labourer is worthy of his wages. Lev 27:30 a tithe belongs to the Lord. Lev. 7: 33-34. Numbers 18:8 - 32. Genesis 14:18. Abram gave Melchizedek tithes of all. Well before Moses time and the Leviticus priesthood. The principle remains forever. Some say Tithes and offerings were done away with...this could be due to a reaction against corrupt churches and also lust-for -money of the holder of the money, into whose hands God gave the increase. If Paul did choose not to take Tithe from those who had issue with him teaching that it was a beneficial activity because he was financially burdening them... then he chose a lesser principle. That would be ministering on their terms, and confined him. Our increase in wealth is due to God. In the days of Joshua & the Judges, the tribes were to contribute to the upkeep of the Levites in their local area, but quickly the tithe was diverted to the centre, and caused the corruption of the priesthood. We are not to pay tithe to a central organisation, but to the person most instrumental in helping you come to salvation. Acknowledging that work. Even paying tithe to the corrupt priesthood like Hannah - even giving her son to the corrupt priesthood (although she knew it was ordained of God - and not a Baal-sacrifice on the high places [which the prosperity churches are]). Jesus had a bag of money (that he put Judas in charge of) to support his work and the disciples. Although when the woman who poured the extremely expensive on Jesus head, Judas and the disciples were indignant...what waste! Paying tithe finds lusts for money, and the conviction of sin and lust leads to righteousness. To finish the work, there must be fully supported evangelists - recognised in spirit and truth. Not because the church elders say so, but because the benefits are evident in the reborn person eternal life, and they have the 10th commandment in action...not coveting the Lord's stuff.

They encouraged my Aunt and Uncle to attend a Sozo and through that my aunt "discovered" the thing that stands out is that her siblings (she is 79 years old) have kept her from being able to be open to the Holy Spirit because the siblings teased her when they were all children. As a result, she has not been able to embrace what the Holy Spirit has for her. It has caused animosity in her toward her siblings. She only has two siblings left out of 15. It just breaks my heart. I would like to know more about what this "ministry" is supposed to really do. If you have any thing that you share, it would be appreciated.

A little leaven leavens the whole lump. Hearing of the slippery slope reminds of when I listened to Kevin Max, and gave him license due to the poetic music. Before long, inspiration came from apocryphal sources, a song partly inspired by witchcraft was accepted, and now, wokeness, Universalism and destroying people is being preached. The irony of the latter is he once boasted of being a testimony of Pro-Life. Another irony is after his sharing the Kenneth Copeland rap meme, Justin Peters, Doreen Virtue, Rosebrough and the Kozars popped up on my feed, prompting me to reevaluate my faith, read the Bible, and come to Biblical Christianity.

The scope of how deep Bethel culture goes within the body of christ is unreal. And of course, Copeland teaches there because birds of a feather flock together! It's surreal how much control Bethel has within the community at large in the Redding area. I lived there (Red Bluff) from 15 to 18. And most of the churches (AG mostly) were under the Bethel umbrella and very subtly mind you. They (Bethel) controlled the amphitheater and started to allow secular music to play there. The one by the Sun Dial bridge. I remember walking the sun dial bridge and seeing these "volunteers" doing clean up they were all Bethel students and they would be there to get people to come to the church. They'd pray for whomever but it wasn't ever with anyone who needed a miracle like people in wheelchairs or you know trying to help any number of the addicted homeless population that would often camp out along the trail. So everything that Bethel seemed to do from my point of view was done to make it look like they were doing works but it was just to shape the view of Bethel within the community at large. What makes me sick is how can you call yourself a church that follows christ and don't do anything to help the largest population of drug-addicted people in your very own community. I did Lyft for a while and I was constantly taking people to Bethel and I'd talk to them and you can just feel how deceived these people are. They have that glossy-eyed I'm doing good when in reality they are peddling a cult... and you can't convince them that they are following a different Jesus a different gospel until they see it for themselves. I hated even taking people to that place because in my heart of hearts you can feel that Bethel is absolutely full of it.... Anyways sorry for the long comment keep doing what you're doing. Getting exposure to the dangers of this place is doing more good!

The lie is pleasure in unrighteousness-- worship of Satan himself in the church set up a long long time ago. Just look at the order of St. Cyprian a black magician from 2nd-3rd century cult of Kali essentially.

I agree with your points at the end... the inevitability of it... so many miss it.. .but the whole point of signs & wonders... is power. And Bethel wants power, raw, influential power (if not over all society, at the least 'over' christianity.) And in our culture what do you need to really get power (and fame)? You need MONEY! And so yes, the richest will be sucked up to, platformed, etc (consider Bill & Kris are very rich already) but Bethel will need even more MONEY in order to get to the Bigness it wants - the Fame it wansts - the Power it wants...

I won't be popular for saying that but those Were my genuine thoughts. That is not down to you Jessee at all but what you are saying beds to be heard.

When you bring it back into premier and publish it there will be a massive difference. Also I enjoyed listening to you go through your thoughts. It helps me understand their theology more.

The question I've always had with KZread commentary channels on pastors and churches is, if bethel does not have complete doctrine then who has. Most KZread commentary channels are not pastors so we can't follow them. If all the pastors, churches and preachers are wrong then who is right then. If there is no clear answer, I think what helps is to talk more about how to equip the saints in decrement of spirits. I feel like we just do a back and forth in the Christian circles leaving confusion after every conversation about pastors, prophets and churches.

One thing you should look into is how secular self-help conferences (Tony Robbins and the like) and NAR megachurches often use similar tactics. Emotional music and spontaneous laughter are both things you’ll see at self-help conferences, for instance. My question is: Do you think the “drunk in the spirit” stuff is just emotionalism and group psychology on steroids or do you think that there are actual demonic spirits behind this stuff?

If you listen to the Rise & Fall of Mars Hill podcast, they describe how the primary driver of church growth was actually the worship band, not the preaching.
