It is not auto tuned. That is his real voice. He has a lung infection and his voice is always wavy like that. How do I know? He is from my hometown. I have heard him sing in person. It is his real voice.

D-and-Z Vines it wouldn’t be a lung infection causing the wavy voice. It’s called a falsetto. It’s just the way singers are taught to make things sound wavy. All singers are very different. Some are lengthy and deep. While others (like Bens) are very quick and bouncy.

He's actually right Ben even says he has a terrible lung infection the doctors do not know what to do with it they don't know how to help them so a lot of his live performances he struggles to sing but he still tries for his fans but he's in horrible pain every day

Ben's voice is fucking amazing. Yeah he's struggled with health issues...I have too and it's heartbreaking for a singer. But his tone is amazing

Very few people can sing acoustic covers of metal like this. I’ve been watching a lot of them recently and he changes his tone for these kind of songs perfectly

Yeah, it's not auto-tune. It's subtle vocal correction. It's commonly used in acoustic performances for when the singers voice is strained. There's a huge difference between the two, haha.

Yeah, It's definitely not full on auto-tune. He does have some kind of Subtle vocal correction though, I record music and can definitely tell there's some kind of effect on his voice, BUT, The thing about subtle vocal correction is, You still have to hit all of the notes, It just fixes if you're slightly flat or sharp on the note. He doesn't need it, but a lot of the time bands will use stuff like that during acoustic performances if their voice is strained. He still kicks ass either way.

CynicalSavior its an EQ setting that involves reverb, delay, or echo he must have his EQ on a standard setting to wear the effects in the speakers 🔊 aren’t really doing all the work he actually is using his own vocals too 😏

How the hell can that be autotune? Can anyone NOT hear the raw sound in his voice? Autotune can`t really make his whole voice up, you know. & besides, it`s ACOUSTIC. You can`t use autotune, because obviously it`s supposed to be softer than the usual song. I think his voice is awesome, & I don`t think he`s using autotune. At least in my opinion.

What seems like vocal vibratos through out were actually non-intentional, they are instability in his voice which strangely falls out and back in tune in sharp cycles ie. 1:03 1:07 1:48 2:01 2:18 2:56 are the more obvious ones, though there are tons more. The only other possibility is just that, they were intentionally vibratos which the audio person was too lazy to isolates those parts out and kept the autotune in. Which means - wait for it.. autotuned. Acoustics sets are plugged in too ;)

It's amazing to me how many people think they're experts on auto-tune and clearly have no idea what they're hearing. LOL

There is an acoustic version that is way batter but you can’t find it anywhere

Just adding to the auto-tune points, auto-tune would have gone screwy when he growled or when he does any head voice or airy high notes, and nothing sounded off at all during those points in the song
