It's a tough time if your favorite Marvel characters are Spider-Man, the X-Men, the classic F4, or the original Avengers. Movies aren't like comics where you can just read the comic that has the characters you like, with movies if characters are not featured--especially in a cinematic universe--it could be YEARS before you see them interacting with each other again. It's been over 5 years since we've seen Steve Rogers Cap on screen, and may be a few more years before we ever see him again.

In his early incarnation Dr Doom is pretty ground based.

I'm definitely interested in the new lineup of the team and seeing how they will deal with the big threat.

The New Avengers led by a matured Spiderman (Tom) would be pretty sick in getting to see the mantle passed on by iron man in play!

Despite it filming next year, it could move to 2027 if Blade & Fantastic Four move to 2026 for the start of the final phase in the Multiverse Saga while 2025 would be the year that Phase 5 gets a proper conclusion.

@dankusoonyt7473 oh the avengers movies are most definitely getting delayed. It's filming so soon yet so many stories/characters have yet to be introduced. So yeah they will have to delay the movies so they can tell what happens to each character before they fit them into the avengers movies

I eventually do want to see a good team mixture of Avengers and mutants both. I also hope that as long as Hemsworth is around he'd potentiolly make an appearance as Thor.

I'd at least like to get an Amazing Spiderman 3 in that case, would take that over the likes of Madame Web and Kraven anyday.

I do like the idea of building around Sam Wilson’s Cap. I also think it’s still to early to know what Avengers 5 will be!

I like the idea of Sam putting together a pre-Avengers team, but being apprehensive about calling themselves the Avengers, but owning their potential as a long-term team by the end

You say red hulk isn't cosmic or multiversal but we have seen him go against the silver surfer in the comics and beat up the watcher.

I can see what you are talking about. If they do start the Avenger team with Sam Wilson's Captain America, Falcon, Hulk, and Black Panther, they all have met before or at least share screen time. But you made a very good point, the first Avengers movie, the original team, none of them actually knew each other before becoming a team. They could assemble a team during Avengers 5.

It honestly makes sense for them to build a team from scratch in avengers five. As you stated the team meeting for “1st time “gives them an easy excuse to lose and regroup for the next big crossover. Just hoping the midnight sons are formed somewhere in between.

Two things…. 1) you said, “Black Panther…. Not necessarily Shuri’s!!!! 2) they connected the first scenes film without the characters. Cap knew Tony’s dad, EVERYONE knew of Hulk and Tony came out to the WORLD as Iron Man, hence how Cap knew that “Big Ugly Building in New York!” Hawkeye was there when Thor first tried to get his hammer and Colson visited all of them at some point

Having two major villains in Avengers 5 would be so epic

I hope they make the mix of street level and multiversesal aspects well.

I'd like to see Spidey, Shuri, Shang Chi, Dr. Strange, Capt. America, Ant Man, Ironheart, Daredevil and She-Hulk, with Banner and son featured in supporting roles. That would tie the MCU to Marvel TV and have experienced Avengers teaching the ropes to the new recruits. And of course, for Avengers 6, I'd like to see Wand and Vision come back, Kate Bishop as the next generation Hawkeye, as well as Luke Cage, who was a mainstay of the New Avengers in the comics... I don't expect I'll get it, but I never expected to see anything like these epic films in my lifetime!

The Avengers would fight someone like Red Hulk that Kang pats on their shoulder before leaving to indicate he has bodyguards from all time.

Might be the Leader as the ground villain. Also would a great way to get Kang into the movie by weird experiments,

Vision would make a good puppet villain for a kang puppeteer act (and if he's created Viv, she'd be a welcome addition to the future young avengers lineup they've started establishing. As well as someone to be used to break kang's hold in the final act). Vision being a bad guy would also explain the government involvement because they brought him back from the dead.

So excited to see where the MCU is going! Definitely agree there's some work to do in order to set up the new Avengers, which phase 4 could have done a much better job with (even if working more on developing each important member individually).

Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Black Panther, Shang Chi, Wasp, Moonknight and She Hulk. I think those should be the members of the team.
