Ten Hag work very well with the relatively modest budget of Ajax then completely blow it when given 400$ million war chest. But we know at Liverpool there is Richard to help him with transfer so Slot will face much less problem than Ten Hag

Kellerher is not as good as Alisson Becker. There are a lot of goals Kelleher conceeded Alisson would never have conceeded but we allowed it because he is a young player and just learning. Pls not saying Kelleher is bad only that he is not the finished article he just needs developing.

I've never been as frustrated watching a forward as watching Nunez. If he isn't offside 9 times out of 10, he's missing simple side foot finishes by smashing them over the bar or straight at the keeper. I was right behind him and defended him completely until the last 2 months. His utter stupidity with being offside, coupled with the lack of calmness in front of goal pisses me off no end.

FSG and Edwards want a bargain coach.

There are only 3 elite coaches in klopp, pep and ancelotti. Everyone else is ay step down or a gamble. He may work, he may not, but someone who plays similar to how our squad is structured and is desperate to join us is a decent starting point.

Best thing that happened to LFC since Jürgen. I put my money where my mouth is, and bet (at the bookies) he will get the PL within 2 years.

All of a sudden a rebuild turnaround year and we are challenging on every front again. But something happened half way through the season and we are supposed to win everything in the first season. It's been a very exciting season and a nice trophy for klopp to leave with. Leaving the team in good shape with players to sell or keep for great value. Yet everyone so up their own arseholes we are supposed to win the title and it's players faults we are not . We are far ahead of schedule and I don't see anyone else building a challenging team in a season

I must say I am a bit underwhelmed by this news but he(Mr.Slot) deserves a chance. Make no mistake about it Liverpool FC isn't going to treat any Manager kindly if they fail to deliver trophies especially Major ones

I was a bit worried about Kloppy lad initially, for the same reasons, and that didn't pan out too bad in the end. Things can't be as bad as they have been especially over the last 4 months. It’s going to go pear-shaped in a very big way. In three years FSG will be out and you will be begging for Klopp to come back. Edwards wants all the control with no accountability. Slot is a yes man. FSG treated Klopp badly by bringing Edwards back (Edwards didn’t like Klopp having all his authority). FSG brought Reality T.V. Into the locker room and Klopp clearly said if they did that he would leave the club. Now they are experimenting with an American style system where the coach is a coach only and Edwards is the manager. Not going to work.

Slot has won nothing important and he will be coaching players who have won a lot. This is a mistake and a disaster waiting to happen. Maybe he is a transitional manager, but I doubt if Alonso who is the elite candidate will ever be interested in a team like Liverpool when he can have Real Madrid or Bayern.
