As a representative to the US House a person is elected to represent their constituents and serve. Picking up their toys, resigning, and getting a 3x paying gig as a lobbyist because they don’t get their way is narcissistic and disenfranchises their constituents. A representative, or any elected official, is elected to serve- they need to honor the commitment they made when they filed their election petition. We seem to have lost the ability to reach beneficial compromises.

Inflation has come way down. It is about 3.5%. The stock markets are doing great. The US has the lowest inflation rate of all the G7 Nations. This is based on the same metrics that was used for all prior presidents. Some prices are still higher now than they were before the pandemic. That has much more to do with what is known as greedflation. Corporations are raising prices & blaming it on inflation. Look up the profit margins of the companies whose product prices are still high. You will see that as their prices went up so did their profits.
