In Breakfast at Tiffany's, Holly (Audrey Hepurn) and Paul walk out of the apartment after he helps her get ready for visiting sing sing. Holly whistles for a cab and surprises and impresses Paul. A cab pulls up and it's Paul's girlfriend/decorator. Holly pulls down her sunglasses slightly, like pulling off a mask.
I wish I could whistle like that!

That pulling down the sunglasses, a very 'knowing' look. She knows Paul's being 'kept' by that woman.

$300, she's very generous. Is it by the week, the hour or what? Okay, the party's over. Out. Oh, Fred. Darling Fred, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Don't be angry. I was just trying to let you know I understand. I understand completely.

Well, her mother was a Dutch baroness, her father was British, but technically she was British as she lived in England, but she herself was never from Belgian, legally at least, she was just born in a municipality in Brussels

Is there anything more chic than Audrey Hepburn in the 1960's, wearing Oliver Goldsmiths and getting into a New York City cab saying "Grand Central Station, and step on it, Darling" in that posh British accent?

@micky8701 You have some gall to tell the channel creator of a video that YOU SOUGHT OUT TO COMMENT ON to "...stick to posting clips", go troll somewhere else. I will say it again, you can enjoy aspects of the past without having to constantly re-assess history at the time. The bad things don't have to overshadow the good of that era. We as a society have learned from our mistakes, why punish ourselves forever. People still had to go on with their lives, and find happiness in it. Keep doing what you do @EverythingAudrey.com, you're showcasing a woman who represented a deeper sense of humanity, compassion, and resilience through a classic style created on her own.

Audrey pulls down designer sunglasses to reveal *glamourous knowing eyes!* Her gown is Givenchy & the shades by Oliver Goldsmith (thought they were Pucci's). *(Michael Caine* wore the clear variety of Goldsmiths & *Princess Diana* wore shades.) An iconic scene that requires *no response* from Holly. 🕶️💎

Blake Edwards, the director, didn't want George Peppard as Paul Varjak-ridiculous! He's perfect! The only bad decision Blake made with this movie-as far as I'm concerned- was Mr. Yunioshi- BAD Idea, and Blake admitted that mistake-I'm glad!
