I can relate to EVERYTHING she said about saving yourself first, I am in that space, it is very very tough because people are not used to you putting yourself first, heck you aren't used to putting yourself first but it is th fight for your life, your sanity, your existence and your being. It is up to parents to model this to children. Rest is not evil or lazy it is necessary. That strong black woman stereotype needs to be put to rest.
