Be A Man - Ronald Chepkwony

Be a man! Be Strong! Be the head of the home! These are words that are often told to men, both young and not so young. What do they mean? What does it mean to be a man, to be strong, to be the head of the home? The more Ronald sought answers to these questions, the more he realised that most men were clueless but were convincingly putting up a brave front.
Can men come together to discuss these things? What happens when they do?

Great talk. This strength faking masculine mentality won't take us anywhere, probably only hasten our appointment with the grave.

How this is so raw & real. So many of our generation are clueless on how to be a man as our dads were silent or absent. He's on point. Great talk.

I agree, men must be more intentional on sharing their fears and challenges among themselves....it's not a sign of weakness.

Woooow The things men go through... silently! This has taught me that women shouldn't be hard on their men but create an environment where they can open up and talk freely. Some suffer silently... wengine hawakufunzwa, some grew up without fathers to groom and guide them. And men need to be present in their children's lives, especially the boys. As we funza wasichana, tufunze pia vijana.
