    Oh my goodness - thank you so much. I made it exactly as you directed and it turned out exactly as you said. In your pictures it looks like a fairly heavy bread, but it is actually lovely light and fluffy. We are so tired of the disgusting bread in the little town we live in - no selection. It is full of trans-fats, preservatives and sugar. This is Just beautiful fresh lovely bread - just as it should be. However, there is one very bad part you did not warn about!! The bread is so delicious it was all eaten in a couple of hours. Now I am going to have to make more - he he. Philip

    This is my second time trying this recipe, and I did better this time. I used equal parts, red, hard wheat, and splet grain and some olive oil, and a little bit of honey. OMG it is so soft like you won't believe it and I am still a bewbe in this freshly milled flour bread making business. I thank you so very much for empowering me to do this!! My husband is singing my praise and I owe it all to you ❤. Much love.

    I just make this bread today exactly as you demonstrated and it turned out amazing. I tried 3 other bread recipes from other channels before and they were not good, I thought it was because of my poor baking skills. I was about to give up on baking my own bread forever but decided to try your method as a last chance. The result is astounding - I keep looking at this bread saying, „I can’t believe I made this. I actually made this bread.“ 🤓It looks like a real bread from a bakery, but tastes much better. Thank you for this!!

  • @Shoofly000

    @Shoofly000

    3 жыл бұрын

    You can’t make sourdough without some type of yeast. If you don’t want to use packaged yeast, then you can buy fresh yeast. If you don’t want to do that either, then you can try making a fermented sourdough starter. It only requires water and flour but you can ferment it in a week and add it instead of yeast in your dough. You’ll find many recipes on KZread.

    In lukewarm water separately add the active dry yeast with sugar. Leave aside for few minutes and you will see it become frothy (shows yeast is good). Then you can add at the point she puts instant yeast.

    Thank you very much for the lovely video. Just 2 questions. 1. I make my bread as often as I can. But I was told that if salt is put in contact with yeast, it could kill the effects of yeast. But your bread came out beautifully 😍. So does it have that effect? 2. About the dough stored away in an airtight container in the refrigerator, how long can we use it for. Much love. And Thanks again ❤️

    That's what I also thought. Yeast gets killed by salt. But I guess that is a myth, after seeing the positive results of all people who have tried it here in the comments section. 😄

    Is it okay I needed to add 2 cups of water in total cause the dough was hard even after kneading Update: the bread came out dense and I believe I could’ve browned from the top as well as it still looked undercooked but was hollow and cooked from the inside
