Exactly, not just the language but also the humor and mannerisms! 😅
Wow he really speaks tagalog fluently
Bros Tagalog is on point. He nailed the accent down, mannerisms, and he doesn't use much taglish.
I am proud to say he learned our filipino language and speaking it fluently.
Wow he has a totally different personality while speaking portuguese.
Ang lalim managalog👏
Husay naman
Parang filipino at heart talaga siya lol. Sobrang similar siguro ng brazilian and filipino culture
ang galing ni ate kuya brazil... he not only speaks tagalog but in current expression, very youthful
Amazing……parang Brazilian na laki sa pinas. Hahahaha! Galing talaga. Magitalki siya kaya.
You are both talented!

Exatamente! Eu gosto que você se interesse pelo nosso idioma
Wow! friends kami ni Koli sa Facebook at napakagaling nya mag-Filipino
He sounds like Sam Milby speaking Tagalog.
3:20 "...Historya natin..." I think he's not just pointing out the fact that he speaks Tagalog quite intimately. On the deeper side he's referring to our common history with the two Iberian empire namely Portugal and Spain. Indeed this should be a very interesting topic to explore to learn each other's culture.

His Tagalog is so good down to the accent. I would have thought he's Filipino.

I was in Brazil 2 months ago. Many Brazilians look like Filipinos. Those who look like Filipinos may have more Indigenous (indio) heritage in them or if they have documented mestizo (mestiço) heritage their recessessive indigenous trait manifests more than their European traits. They are a true melting pot-Indigenous, Portuguese/European and African racially and culturally. There has been miscegenation goong on there for centuries.
Sobrang hanga ako sa husay nyo. Nakaka inspire. 8 years na ako sa NL pero hindi pa ako fluent although I can carry everyday conversations pero hindi pa yung malalalim na usapan. 😅

Kaya nyo po yan! Advantage nga yan kase nakatira kayo jan. Kame nga ni koli d pa kame nakakaalis ng mga bansa namen kaya internet lang talaga ang puhunan para magaral😅
I know of an El Salvadorean guy who became a fluent speaker of Tagalog. His best friends were Filipinos and he worked with them 8 hrs. a day and hung out with them after work. About three years of being exposed to Tagalog and contextual references. Of course hearing Spanish and English words so often along with frequent Tagalog words and most of all practicing with them, without formal study of the language, he was a fluent speaker.

@@aljohnpolyglot Well, it wasn't in the Philippines, but in Canada. That is what made me shocked, as he was able to accomplish fluency in three years, just by being best friends with Filipinos and took it upon himself to be a Tagalog speaker. Despite not having the convenience of living abroad.
GALING!
God, I wish I can speak this well in multiple languages.
hahaha nakilala ko yan si Koli sa Tandem. sumasali yang sa tagalog group chats dun, sobrang galing nya!!!!

it is easy to learn languages if you're young, but as you get older it's getting harder.when i was younger, im trying to learn korean and japanese, but stopped learning them and i forgot all those iv learned😂now i can only speak 4 local languages, can understand 1 more, tho i cant speak it, and english and tagalog.

Yeah it is really easy to learn when you are young. But the reason is not because you are young. It is because the available time you have to learn a language is limited when you reach adulthood. This is due to the fact that we have a lot of responsibilities by then. By the way, speaking that many languages are already cool in your case.
The accent tho 😍
woww
Wow galing naman ni yong dalawa, Koli gusto mong matuto ng isamg dialect sa pinas?
This guy IS intelligent.
Nakakahanga kayong dalawa..👍🙌👏👏👏😱😊 Nkaka- inspire lalo mag- self study ng mga wika..🙃🙂 I also dreamed of being a multi-linguist/lingual.. Aotm, I'm learning some languages, too, mga 'tol, (namely: Greek, Italian, Japanese/Nihonggo, Korean, Russian, Spanish and a little bit of Arabic/Turkish) a little bit of those, pero hindi pa aq 2tally nakakapag- engage sa mga kwen2han/pag-uusap kgya ni2ng ginagawa n'yo..hehe..pero, hindi aq nwwalan ng pag-asa na balang araw, may mga kgya q rin aqng mkkausap @ mkakaunawa sa passion na gus2 q..😅 d2 kc sa bahay nmin, wlang multilingual..haha..pero, I'm trying hard mgkroon ng mga foreign friends kh8 sa social media lng muna..hehe..*wala, share q lng din nman po..😅✌️

Di ko po alam eh. Pero for sure kilala niya yon. By the way here is a correction for your sentence. "Gusto niya ba" instead of "ma gusto ba siya". I can't even explain the difference of niya and siya but you will get it through context
