@betsychavez2914 what I personally do and it's done in Latin America is, equal parts sweetened condensed milk and whipping cream, combine. Then add lime juice, don't stop stirring! It'll start becoming thicker and thicker. When it tastes as limey as you want stop! Then add it to your crust (I use a simple graham cracker crust) and pop in the fridge for at least 5 hours. It'll set! It's so yum and easy. Add some lime zest on top for decor

I lalalooove this drink, will put some cachaca in it sometimes, too, lip smackin good.
She says "Add tequila or vodka..." I'm just imagining it also with Cachaca, the Brazilian spirit that I make a 🍸caiparinha🍸 with that also has lime juice.... yummm.

You can just throw some sugar in that first blend if you want a cheaper version. The blender stirs it right in and then you strain afterwards.

Hillbilly margaritas! Frozen concentrated lime aid, empty in blender, fill 1 1/2 tequila in the frozen can, fill with ice to the top. Let er rip, and enjoy!

@@cheekyape in Portuguese speaking countries limes are called "Limões" while lemons are called "Limões Sicilianos" so for us it does have lemons on it.

I quit drinking too. Wish I never touch the stuff. It really destroyed my life. That's why I got really mad when she spoke about adding alcohol, especially hard liquor

@@robertshipley6990 Any recommendations for someone who desperately wants to quit? I have gone sober for 35 days tops, then relapse again and again. When I drink, it feels amazing, I cannot stop until I black out.

@@ingGS Just like me. That's what I use to do too. During my blackout stages, I used to get arrested a lot,couple times the hospital. So I stayed at my mother's house for 9 months. Ate great, vitamins, worked out a lot. And read tons -mostly religion. Had to get a mindset that drinking, my friends and culture are just trashy and destructive and want nothing to do with it. Look down on it. How wrong it is and how stupid it is. Then just got real spiritual.

In Brazil, limes are called "limões". They don't have what the US calls lemons.

If you add a couple egg yolks before the condensed milk and let that mix well, before the ice, then you basically have key lime pie filling.
