Brazilian Expo Churrasco: ribs, whole buffalo, flank steak, shoulder, pork, tomahawk, alligator

Expochurrasco - International Barbecue Festival, which marked the launch of the seal of Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil, as the Capital of Barbecue, was a grandiose event. More than 40 stations with barbecue chefs from Brazil and abroad, prepared countless different roasts, in a profusion of aromas and flavors that infected thousands of visitors.
From the traditional beef ribs roasted for eight hours, to lamb on the skewer, exotic alligator and ostrich meats, Moorish pork, smoked flank steak, whole roasted buffalo, shoulder of sheep, pork prime rib, tomahawk, achuras (liver and kidney) to Uruguayan parilla and even authentic sun-dried meat from the Northeast of the country, among others. Not to mention the side dishes, a separate chapter of delicacies.
Decidedly, the hard part was resisting and controlling the urge to try a little bit of everything.

    Olá Ricardo. É verdade, os tempos estão mudando, o churrasco passou a ser muito mais valorizado, entrou no cardápio dos chefs renomados. Acho que é uma tendência inevitável. Os grandes eventos agora ocorrem com muito mais frequência. Há quem goste, há quem discorde. Mas ao fim e ao cabo o importante é se é bem feito. But what I can tell you is that I am aware of two events already scheduled: first, the Farroupilha camp, which takes place in Porto Alegre, the capital of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, in a park called Harmonia, in the first 20 days of September. This event honors local traditions, a true city of sheds (Piquetes) is set up and people stay there doing cultural activities and having barbecue. Pero aquí en el sur de Brasil, que hace frontera con Argentina, esta tradición también es muy fuerte.     i spent a bit of time in prison and before i went i watched a few films of people cooking in Brazil and i mentioned one that appeared on BRITISH TV to the guys in my hut in prison so we all watched it. anyway after it finished you should have seen all of these massive guys run to the very small kitchen we had just to cook anything they had it was so funny watching these guys cooking boiled eggs with packet noodles and anything else they could get their hands on and the que that formed to get to the cooking pots and pans it makes me laugh 20 years later just to think about it

    Olá Carlos. Essa foi a primeira edição da Expochurrasco, aconteceu em abril passado, no parque da Harmonia, em Porto Alegre. Acredito que deverá acontecer outra no próximo ano. Mas aqui na região o que não falta são eventos de churrasco. No dia 11 de novembro, por exemplo, vai acontecer outra edição da Confraria SG BBQ Festival, em Gramado, que é incrível também.     Olá, bom dia. Sim, no caso desse evento, a Expochurrasco, o ingresso dava direito a consumir tudo livremente, sem restrições, e também estava incluído o show de artistas nacionais. Agora, no dia 20 de abril, vai acontecer outra edição do evento, no parque da Harmonia, em Porto Alegre. Normalmente nesses eventos o sistema é esse. Em alguns, tem o consumo de bebidas tem que ser adquirido separadamente.
