True. People need to stop claiming that every weather event is due to climate change. Its lost all meaning and credibility at this point. " Its 90 degrees out ! Climate change !" When - in reality - we've had 90 and 100 degree days all along - and there has only been a slightly measurable change if you take those measurements in the right place over the right time period. QUESTION: There are two things that are GUARANTEED to occur: FREQUENCY and INTENSITY of these storms WILL increase. FACT. So then - who and how will get all of this cleaned up and fixed? Every time? When this starts to occur annually - what will societies do? Who pays? How does an entire local economy survive this type of thing as they get more intense and more frequent? Will there be ANY "insurance" for this? How do small businesses recover when they get flooded/hailed/tornadoed/heatwaved into oblivion EVERY year? Will there be enough building materials to rebuild entire towns/cities/regions/infrastructure/cars/etc etc let alone make new things? Where will people live in the interim? Can "governments" even help? How will people pay their bills when entire economies and regions are wrecked for months on end? Are they prepared? Are there enough first responder resources to respond to these events as they happen more often and in more than one place at a time? Humanity better start asking the real questions and do it fast because anyone who thinks this will just go away isn't paying attention to the CHANGES happening. And it does not matter one whit about "whether this is manmade or not" anymore - the shit is hitting the fan so that argument is MOOT POINT now. We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg. The dildo of consequences is just getting its tip in and it will not be lubed and it will not go in slowly once the climate roller coaster gets that last car over the peak. Great comment. I've been saying the same thing. Every time there's a disaster like this, the debris gets put aside, where organic and plastic goods rot/break down to release even more greenhouse gases. Meanwhile, the survivors want more homes, more cars, more stuff, which means cutting down even more trees, digging more minerals, stoking the fires of industry even more, releasing even more greenhouse gases - thus assuring the world of even greater risk of climate change. And most people fail to even recognise this significant problem with regard to handling climate change.

More then 10 thousand pets have been rescued, so I think more people died. Here in Brazil people are giving more atention for the dogs that have been rescued. Voluntaries puted their lives in risk for to save dogs and now they are in risk to get sick. One doctor died.

After KZread was created, people and vet clinic in general, start saving animals and showing in KZread. Many clinic make money saving street pets, advertise their business and so on. Now abandoned animals are saved, cared and become famous bringing subscription to the rescuer' Chanel. I say that, cause when I was student, I found a little dog bleeding with his neck cut , wandering in street, I took him home to help him, the manager of build didn't want I keep the poor dog there anyway. So, I called a vet clinic to help with animal, even putting him to sleep, they said to me, they would do but I have to pay. I only have money for the cab to take him there. Guess, what, I took the poor little dog and abandoned in empty land close to my home. I lost sleep many night thinking about the half beheaded animal, because even with neck cut he still alive suffering. The story this dog hunt me until today. If I had a gun I would finish his pain but I had nothing. I was very young. If this events happen today, the clinic would be willing not only send transportation, take the dog there and care for it free of charge. I have doubt about all this commotion with saving animal to show the world, how they care.

Terribly sad. They need to build with new infastucture for flooding. We live in Riverside California at least literally flood four feet deep in minutes. They created flood controls and now flooding is non existent. Scientists need to hire flood control specialists from successful countries. It will require taxes from the citezens, but it coukd save lives!

I am Brazilian and a country can not be represented by a "school of samba". Some of them can present elements of evil in their parades, depending on the theme that each one chooses to represent every year during the Carnival. The parades occur in some states, not in the south, the region affected by these floods. Many Brazilians don't even like Carnival. We are more than 200 million people in the country and there are many stereotypes and wrong ideas.

We live in the end times. Jesus said: They took no note of my coming. Matthew chapter 24 I feel very sorry..for this people ..but Crist is in control he needs to finish ALL forms of corroption around us... According to some news there was 18 satanic places to worship the devil in Rio Grande do Sul...
