I love the crossovers, the fact they visually made the attacks different and tried to make them interesting from the original is amazing. From a casual player standpoint it wouldn't make sense how Stevonnie would mirror Val, but they made it work with the bubble being the side sign and Lion coming out for the nsig

I have trouble with the Ninja Turtles. They're so visually similar and anything but default colors complicates the issue. It's most noticeable in a mode like Strikeout where you can get surprised for not paying close enough attention to the opposing team, but I wish BMG had at least worked out a scenario where none of them are sharing weapons.

you didn't mention Xavier woods where it spawns a second guy which is extremely distracting. EDIT: ALSO the snake eyes dsig projectile isn't accurate to the hitbox and it blends into the background on demon island. There is a massive difference to the sound of thatches balls getting shot to snake eyes throwing grenades.

As much as i love the crossovers, akumas gaunt neutral gets me every single time. The animation does not look like it should come back down as quickly as it does

I don’t play the game but I feel bad it doesn’t receive more attention especially with how much they put into the game. Those animations are dope

I don't know If you did it on purpose but I like how right when you started talking about Rayman skin crossovers, music from plok started playing, a videogame whose protagonist also attacks and has limbs in a similar way that Rayman does, which would make him a very good candidate for a rayman crossover skin (a very cool coincidence in the case it was accidental)

Shoutout to the Ben 10 caspian crossover. Those sigs are incredibly quiet, and the skin itself is almost completely symmetrical, making it hard to see what direction it's facing no matter what. I chose plague knight anyways cause shovel knight :)

Akuma's(Val) up-sig on gauntlets replace the gauntlet that floats on top of Val in the animation to just a vfx so the hitbox is impossible to see and I've died to that small vfx hitbox so many times

I honestly rlly thought u were gonna talk about xavier woods nsig hammer. A whole nother model pops out which is very similar to xavier woods model which can result in missed punishes

Imo i think the biggest problem is stevonnie's ssig without charge. You have no idea where its directed since they turn kinda invisible

there should be an option to disable crossover sig animations, so you can see the crossover, but with regular sigs and sounds

the issue with rayman crossovers is that bmg isn't the license holder of the intellectual property, and would have to get express approval from that holder to modify and create derivative work of it (likely resulting in negotiating another deal)

The Crossover that had to have the best sig animations is Specter Knight. He is basically Nix with the color red, could they make him wear his cloak when he do the sigs

Macho man lance dsig is also kinda worse than thatch because it goes from a super loud chainsaw to a little hiss
