Honestly that’s not true. I love animals but loving animals is absolutely no indication if you are a good person. There is serial killers, rapist and child molesters that love animals and hate people. @Bear2U just about everyone who lives in rural areas has had run ins with coyotes. Coyotes attack anything and everything out in the country. Just because he didn't want to see the coyote tortured in the fence doesn't mean he wouldn't smoke a coyote in another situation. It's pretty common to have to shoot a coyote in the country. I'm assuming you live in a pod stacked on top of a couple hundred other pods , right?

Nothing more beautiful than a man who loves children and animals. What a guy! ❤

Three days late, but! I imagine he lit this cigarette just Incase the little critter decided to choose some violence because coyotes are fairly mean most of the time and honestly I'd do the same. Coyote bites suck. Just the image in my brain "Hey Tom, got a smoke?" "Yeah, why?" "I'm gonna let that poor little doggy out of there and wanna have one last ciggy Incase it bites me and I get the rabies" "You sure?" "Yeah, no reason for him to be stuck in there like that" Then proceeds to be a coyote hero. Sorry but I had to reply to this. I thought him having a smoke in his lip the entire time was just the cherry on top of this cool guy Sunday and it's amazing. Best wishes.

Das Bein war bestimmt lange abgebunden. Somit wahrscheinlich nicht mehr zu retten. Im besten Fall verliert das Tier nun unter Schmerzen sein Bein und wird dann trotzdem Probleme bekommen, sich zu ernähren. Wahrscheinlich stirbt es aber an der nun folgenden Nekrose und Infektion. Äußerst unangenehm... Entweder man macht es vernünftig oder man erlöst das Tier.

My Uncle has a half Coyote and he's awesome with my cats and little dogs! Best dog ever!!!! I have lived with a pack.... I'm not kidding. They aren't bad but very much needed!! I've seen deer attack them with their hooves. Do you know how many thousands of cattle I'm around with miles and miles of land and not one time have I seen a Coyote attack a cow or calf. I'm not going to say they would never attack but overall Sir, we need them! Thanks for hearing me! ❤

I love this, a human being that respects wildlife and goes to serious lengths to help a critter in distress. I like to believe that coyote knew he was helping him. Animals deserve love and respect as much as humans do perhaps more. Animals don't know how to be jerks.

Nice that he never gave up, even though he was scared of getting bitten. I'm sure the coyote appreciates it, even though he had that distrust throughout.

@Sheepsfoot2 I've unfortunately had to cut my wire several times when wild horses got caught because they were fighting trying to kick at the Arabian horses I raise. I ended up just splicing new wire together with the cut wire instead of undoing the intire line

I think the coyote knew that the man was there to help him and he stayed calm until the end. Then the man kind of gave him a little boost to let him know he was free and he could go. But the animal is still wild and being stuck like that for certain. Of time the animal could be scared wondering if something bad is going to happen. But the man was good what a wonderful thing he did for that animal❤❤❤❤
