Heck, even gator mamas look out for their newborns until they can fend for themselves. Now, the males of many of these same species, will kill their offspring or, especially the offspring of another male. Thank goodness homo sapiens' males are less inclined.

I get the emotion, but the snake is part of nature as well. The snake has to eat to survive, just like we do. As a mammal myself, my heart goes out for the squirrel of course, but I think we should not shame the cameraperson for not interfering with nature😊
