Horses are property, not people.

When I am a tourist, I NEVER partake in using horses, donkeys, or any other animal unless they are well cared for. Their appearance should be robust and their attitude willing. And if it's hot or inclimate weather, never never under any circumstances. I can't believe no one intervened to help this poor horse. Shame on them and may Karma come to visit soon.

I was really disturbed by the mules in santorini made to climb those steep slippery stairs in the blazing hot sun. I was stupid and climbed the stairs too and it was awful and i wasnt carrying some heavy tourist.

This captured my heart big time. I can't even begin to express the gratitude I have for people like this who have the love and compassion to help animals in need. Olaf's spirit was so weak like he had given up, but thank God these ladies were there to change all that. Olaf looks so happy and well. You guys are angels. I understand that you two see that point where people don't care enough for their horses. But there are some horse carriages where the horses are well-fed, are happy and like to do this job. Like a dog, horses like to have some work to do. Of course not until exhaustion, but a good amount of it. So I'd not stop horse carriages at all, I'd put high fines or better jail on abusing or neglecting animals, whether they are pets or working animals and there should be regular controls of it. Here in europe it works just fine, the only thing where animals are not happy are in a circus or on a fair.

Some people just don’t know how to show kindness to non-human animals. But horses are not our cousins. Just because humans are also animals doesn’t mean we’re related to all animals. We’re only related to primates such as apes. We share a common ancestor with chimpanzees.

Thank you for caring these horses. I live in Spain and didn´t know these foundation is here , I will donate monthly to care for these horses. Thank you again. that´s why I never go to cities where I see horse carriages for tourists like Vienna, Rome or Sevilla Spain because I suffer. When I see horses waiting in the hot temperatures waiting for tourists it breaks my heart seeing the lovely horses waiting meanwhile their bosses are in the shade. Thank you again!
