I remember hitting those heavy fire parts of the game, failing, and spending more and more Chuck E Cheese coins on the game until I ran out of coins. Glad I finally saw the end of the game...

I played that game before with my dad's best friend it was a lot of fun we just beat chapter 1 and we only barely made it into the two thirds of the second level

After successfully ridding the world of zombies and evil corporations, G and Rogan were forced to become firefighters to pay rent

Played this game at my local Chuck E. Cheese. It was my favourite game because of the graphics, tension, suspense, and the strategy that comes with it. If I could play this game again I would be very excited too. Great play demonstration!

I remember playing it at a Chuck E. Cheese at Charleston West Virginia back when I was in middle school. I remember losing to it twice, then one day I spent all my tokens on it, about half way through the 3rd or 2nd mission some kid came to help me, and we beat it together! I couldn't be more satisfied.

@@vknight2078 I don't think the Dreamcast could handle it. Brave Firefighters ran on the Sega Hikaru arcade system, which was significantly more powerful than the Dreamcast. This is evident from all the lighting and particle effects. Even the PS2, Xbox and GameCube would struggle to handle it, let alone the Dreamcast.

Man I remember how crazy the controller back in the arcade it was really heavy

Some arcades have the controllers on mounts that can rotate the controller so you don’t have to hold it

I remember playing this game at a bowling alley as a kid all the time. Thought I imagined it or something no one ever knows what game I'm talking about lol

I thought it used a variation of the Model 3 made specifically for the fire effects.

I like how the rating is “suitable” for all children EVEN THOUGH THERES A PART WHERE A MAN GETS LIT ON FIRE

There one at Galloping Ghost Arcade in Chicago IL.

There were two cabinets of this that I remember growing up. One at an old arcade near my old home had the hose control bolted to the console, so you couldn't actually physically pick it up and point it more directly. This made entire portions of the game infinitely harder than they had to be, and getting time bonuses was pretty much impossible. It was probably something the owner devised to make patrons use more quarters. Either that, or they had to do it to dissuade kids from throwing the controller on the ground in frustration. The other cabinet at an arcade I visited once on a trip was actually situated in the back of the room. It happened to be RIGHT NEXT to a portable heater. So while you were blasting away fires, the heater next to you was cooking and making you sweat. Still one of my favorite experiences at any arcade.

I used to play this all the time at my chuck e cheese. I'm actually a firefighter now so it's hella cool to come back and watch this from that perspective. Thank you!

Played this at Chuck E Cheese and Dave and Busters as a kid...loved the ending sequence from 22:18 to 23:07: EVERY story like this certainly needs a happy ending like this one.

This game scared me more than House of the Dead did lol

I could see why I think because a fire is something that can legit happen in real life and spread so fast and quick as compared to something that is supposed to be scare zombies, it's something fictional.

@@vinny_vance_lance yeah a horror survival game is fictional and easy to set aside as a separate universe/fantasy, this is less so.

I could never get past Scene 1. I'd run out of water pressure and that would be my undoing.

I saw this game at a Chuck E. Cheese around 2006 maybe. I loved this game but I only got to play it maybe 3 times in total, if I had a chance I would play it now.

When I was 6 I thought the mayor intentionally sabotaged the basement generator to start the fire.

This game is so harrowing and tense it makes you want to still play it

This should have been on Sega Dreamcast.

I think there's an alternate path in Scene 2 where you do take an elevator.

I wonder if there is a police themed one called brave police officers.

Remember my friend and I spent all our tokens at chuckecheese and beat that game. Felt satisfied for about a week after.

You have to let off the spray every so often to recover the water pressure.
