Brandy is so sneaky! She was trying to talk to a member Aaliyah liked that was in Junior Mafia. Their spat was backstage, Brandy did apologize later on. Even though it was a lot of competition in the 90s but Brandy acted as if she was the main act. That’s why she fell hard out with Monica, too many times they got into it, even one was after their performance. Aaliyah had only a couple of disappointments before her death, one was her label with her uncle and Timbaland/Missy & Ginuwine about her sound. Aaliyah admitted all of this in her clips! It was about the music being rushed to push. Her story never changed!!

Who knew the Boy Is Mine was about Mase?!? I didn’t. They’re both great singers and artists to this day! Very sweet and influential in their own right. Why is it every artist back then doing the same thing artists now are doing? Bringing up fights. Small alleged fights. Even the most coolest people in the 90s go on a podcast and say who was “real” or not. It’s the mentality people, especially black people have now. For some reason a past alleged feud two bust people had is a topic of discussion decades later. Why? Because you love starting shit. Plain and simple.

I love all three especially aaliyah but aaliyah was grown and she didn’t have to explain her personal life or love life with anyone end of story.

I don’t know how true this feud was between Brandy and Monica but I wouldn’t put it past them. Brandy was very bitchy when she was younger especially being a big pop star at such an early age. She was very big headed. Brandy also criticized Foxy Brown back in the day as well talking about how Foxy was too young to rap about the things she did. Brandy’s mother was a bitch as well so, I’m sure she had a lot to do with it. BTW, wasn’t Brandy and Sheryl Lee Ralph beefing on “Moesha” as well?
