Nerding out WITH you because I am a Social Media producer for a company and seeing companies use their online presence as a facade makes me want to SCRRRRREAM. And to be real, a lot of the beauty products/skin care products I've purchased in the last few years have been because of content creators! Especially products from brands that have collaborated with channels that I feel need more recognition because they're using their content for more than just profit. I love this video format and I am, now, heading over to watch all of Glossier's videos! Rock on, Anna. Rock on.

the fact that glossier focuses more on the lifestyle of their consumer is so important and that's something that so many brands overlook. this video is great and i'd love to see a series of more videos like this. i may be biased, working in the same industry and all, but this is so fascinating to me. and to answer your question, yes i have bought several products because of influencers online.

YES, please make more video's like this! I am a fashion marketing student and I'd love to work in social media but like you said there are so many brands that are just using social media to force product down our throats, and I can't work for that. Glossier of course is my dream company, but I'd love to hear some other companies that you know of and think are using social media well! Great video, :) x

A lot of the products that KZreadrs use when it comes to makeup I find really expensive and I don't tend to use those products as much because I don't really like to spend just $50 on like a bronzer or highlight

I usually buy products recommended or reviewed by you tubers/bloggers/instagramers because I know a little bit about them and we have in common with product preferences which helps me as a shopper know that what I'm buying is very likely to work for me personally aka be an informed shopper
