And remember a couple seasons later when Nat had his heart attack Brandon dropped everything to try to keep the Peach Pit open because he knew that was all Nat really had in his life. Unfortunately for Brandon money was what it needed and he didn't have that like Dylan.

Deep down, Steve knew enough about bookies to know that they were gonna break more than “thumbs” if not payed more than 1,500 dollars

Nah, Steve was right. He wasn't gonna break his knee caps over $1,000. It's a business, he wants to get paid. They'd rough him up a bit maybe, but they want him alive to be able to pay it off.

No. That was just one of the maybe 5 times during his nine years on the show, where he was allowed to have an edge and not be the sancitimonius prick of a boyscout he was for the rest of the seasons. Brandon in highschool was okay. Brandon in college was so annoying and so boring.

....looking back, I reeeeally wish they gave NAT more dramatic plot-twists w/ the Gang (or, at least the Guys); Joe E. Tata meant B-U-S-I-N-E-S-S to Brandon (3:52) ...I would've loved it if Nat admitted HE had Gam-b-ling issues once..it would've made his concern more believable ...also, Jason Priestly should've shown Brandon's 'Bad' side more, he was VERY moving... (1:08)
