Cows and calves are ready to make their way to the ranch and summer pasture, but on our way there, we need to brand calves! We had a great crew come help drag and wrestle.
Жүктеу.....

This brought back so many memories of my family’s marking and branding when we had Black Angus. We’d have a big pit barbecue and potluck (maybe you call this hot dish or covered dish) afterwards. Good times with family, friends and neighbors.

I enjoy all your videos but I really enjoyed this one. Seeing all the great friends, neighbors, relatives or whoever working together takes me back to when I was a kid in the 60s and 70s. As farming gets bigger the amount of neighbors get less. I also enjoyed watching some real good ranch horses in action sorting the cattle. Congratulations also on the upcoming birth of your first child.

Hey there you might not see a comment on an old video but I think you should have a local artist do a rendition of your farm and the animals you have there and stuff and landscape and have your title oh/channel name I think it would be much better than the stock transition you're currently using ❤

For some reason, I thought you were in Texas…until I saw the plains and green grass. The only green you get in Texas is northeast Texas from Dallas to Houston, or down along the coast. The rest is hot and dusty. Love your videos.

Howdy Garrett. I love this sort of thing! Ok...here's my burning question. When y'all brand the cows with that hot iron, does it smell bad? I stuck my head in a hot oven one time and singed off my eyebrows. It didn't smell nice. Still praying for that red heifer! And rain. God bless y'all and have a most enjoyable Sunday with the Lord. ❤🙏
