Hard to get a standing O from that jaded music industry crowd, but they know when someone crushes a live performance! It’s like they nominate her every year now just to get another unforgettable jam for the telecast !

I love how excited she gets after nailing a song. Decorum, wait for the cameras to change? Nope. We’re all gonna celebrate RIGHT now!

It's so great to hear and see Brandi getting the recognition she deserves. She is such a great songwriter and singer. We need more music like this. It reminds me of singers like Joni Mitchell.

I’m late hopping on the Brandi train, but damn I’m so happy to be on it.

Seen her twice. She's beyond Amazing. One was in a small building and she did a lot of it acoustic. So glad to see how big she has become. She deserves it. She's beautiful with a beautiful soul.

I discovered her when I watched the Grammys on TV and was blown away by her.

brandi being introduced by the icons, is soooo right on time!!

This gives me Elvis ‘68 special vibes!! Her pose as she sings that last line. Perfection!

One decade. But in fact her music took a littler longer to spill over to Europe. But then she hit us just as hard as she did to you in the US!

I had the privilege of seeing her live in an open concert arena a few years ago, along with Elle King, Heart, and Emmylou Harris and she Really stole the show, even though I'm a Huge Heart fan. It was one of the Best nights of my life! "The Story" is still my favorite song by her and was also the one that made me realize her talent and I've loved her ever since! She is Absolutely Amazing!

I see Brandi in concert every time she's in California. Her vocals live are fantastic, and she has an astounding range and repertoire and makes it a point to support new artists. Just a phenomenal musician and singer/songwriter.

Brandi has the biggest heart, and exceptional talent! I admire her for working with Tanya and Joni to encourage them to sing again! Love this song! ❤

I feel we're seeing a wave of female artist so Respectively boosting and holding each other up in the spotlight, and they're reaching across decades and so many boundaries to do it. They are burying the narrative of women artist being rivals all the time. It's great to see!❤

I so agree Jen. I saw Brandi a few years back. Chills every time I hear her. It was an outdoor concert, and the audience around me, mostly wonderful gals were just the nicest people to be around that evening. (I'm a gay guy, 71, there with my best female friend of 60 some odd years. On my bucket list.

Her high notes gives me chills. Song on repeat.

Brandi Carlisle got humanitarian of the year award so people watch because they know she does service work and donates time and money and her heart.

There have been, and there are, a lot of great singers throughout the World, and Brandi sits right in the front row alongside the greatest singers of all time!!!

Allison Russell I have you to thank for being introduced to the amazingness that is Brandi Carlile. I'm looking forward to seeing her AND YOU, and The Indigo Girls in Columbia, Maryland in August, AND volunteering at the event to raise funds for Brandi's Looking Out Foundation. Just look for the super tall guy wearing a kilt and singing along to every song (in between the fundraising).

@ CHARICKTER Agreed. Fell in love with her voice way back when her song " The Story" was used by Frontline ( I think) promotions. And her unique voice and musical talent still prevail in my heart to this day. Btw, my favorite male artist is the Kazakh Dimash Qudaibergen. So much to admire there!

@@MrsCrazyrange I get both sides of this. I think he's referring to mainstream music. Yes there will ALWAYS be great new music. But Brandi is one of the few great ones that still stays relevant in the mainstream somewhat.

This is definitely one of my 3 Favorite performances at the Grammy Awards 2022! This performance is just hauntingly beautiful! The other one is Cold by Chris Stapleton and 3rd is Lady Gaga's tribute to Tony Bennett, a year before he had passed! What an unforgetable year!!

They tour with a mini string section..josh, the cello player has been with them practically from the beginning.

I am in awe of her gorgeous voice....so powerful, yet vulnerable and emotional 💖 I get the chills every time I hear her lovely voice . She's definitely an amazing artist and it doesn't hurt that she's also a good person who puts her money, fame, and time into her non-profit Looking Out, helping marginalized people. Her song Broken Horses is my favorite song... 💙 ❤️ 💜 💚💛🧡❤️🏳️‍🌈

@@Afireinside912 what? Joni is a friend of Brandis...she suffered a brain bleed and is a little slower and less agile these days. Everybody at these events reads off of the teleprompter...Joni probably didn't recognize the word fast enough so Bonnie helped out.
