Brand Review!! FAIRLIFE CORE POWER PROTEIN SHAKE : {Would I Eat This?}

Ingredients are crucial in food because they provide the building blocks for taste, texture, and nutritional value. In order for a food to be delicious, healthy and safe, the ingredients used need to be of high quality and carefully chosen. Whole milk is a perfect example of how ingredients play a vital role in food. Whole milk is considered to be better than low fat milk because it contains more fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, and beneficial fatty acids. Whole milk is also a good source of calcium and protein, which are essential for bone health and muscle development.
On the other hand, low-fat milk is often stripped of important nutrients in order to reduce its fat content. This process can also strip away the flavor and texture that makes whole milk so appealing. Artificial flavors, colors and preservatives are often added to low-fat milk to make up for the loss of taste and texture. This can lead to unhealthy and unnatural food choices. Natural flavors, on the other hand, are not always natural. Many companies use the term "natural" to describe their flavors, but in reality, they are often chemically derived and heavily processed.
Artificial sweeteners are another example of how ingredients can be harmful. They are often used to make foods lower in calories, but they can have a negative impact on health. Artificial sweeteners have been linked to a variety of health problems, including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. They can also disrupt the body's natural ability to regulate blood sugar levels and can lead to cravings for sweet foods. It's important to be aware of the ingredients in the food we eat and to choose whole, natural ingredients whenever possible. By doing so, we can help to ensure that we are getting the most nutritional value and taste out of our food, while also avoiding harmful artificial additives.

    Can’t agree with this. There is no basis to the statement that pasteurized milk is bad. Fair life is (by law) pasteurized before it is filtered, fat is fat. It is a macro you need but it’s still fat. You don’t need to consume fat to absorb fat soluble vitamins, especially if they come from dietary sources, but fat cans assist in absorption for example Vitamin D. If you are cutting fat then its a good idea to restrict both carb and fat intake, although I would argue carbs are more akin to gasoline than fats as far as being a rapidly deployable source of calories, milk protein remains some of the best protein in existence

    I agree with most of your comment. I do stand by my opinion that Pasteurized milk is not healthy for humans. In fact it will lead most of us to become lactose intolerance as we age. As you said Milk protein remains some of the best protein in existence. I couldn’t agree more. But what happens when you can’t digest it anymore? Either you’re stuck on lactose pills for the rest of your life or you give it up. Both options are not ideal.

    @@NEXTLEVELHEALTHwithTim I’ve never heard research claim raw milk is somehow less likely to cause lactose intolerance. Lactose is a complex sugar, and we’ve evolved to make an enzyme, lactase, which breaks it into glucose. As we age, evolutionary humans stopped drinking milk and stopped needing to make lactase. It causes problems with adults who lack the ability to digest it.. The same Lactose is present in raw and pasteurized milk as far as I know, but it’s removed by ultrafiltration in this product.

    Pasteurization destroys the enzymes and live bacteria in milk that aid in digestion. This is the purpose of pasteurization. Out of fear of contamination. It's unfortunately a huge overreach. I would highly recommend taking a look at Dr. Paul Saladino's research. I personally regained my ability to digest lactose by drinking raw milk.@@adamsteinhardt6393

    Personally, I would rather drink whole milk straight up. More calories, more fat (which i believe to be good things, not bad) and still has solid protein content. It would also avoid a lot of harmful additives. I did a video on Bolthouse farms protein shakes and I did like that one better ingredient wise! So check that video out!

    Drinking these between meals had gotten me some great gains. Am able to keep them and I feel more pumped throughout the day without the extra fat. If you get a well balanced meal throughout the day, you won’t have to worry about the fat calories missing in this. Just more gains lol. Any good 😌 protein would be exceptional.
