    I beat Lvl 25 engine every time but I must confess it is king+pawn vs. king. Otherwise, drawn or massacred.

    The moves at the end were imprecise because they're almost all premoves, each player is just hoping to flag the other player at that point.

    @@bz-winningitall no worries man. A passed pawn is a pawn that can never get attacked by another pawn and doesn’t have an opponents pawn in front of it on the same file that can blockade it. The pawns on the adjacent files either have been captured, have passed your pawn, or has made a capture moving it off the adjacent file. I hope I explained that correctly lol

    At 6:46 -- To give some "room" (air?) -- or some "luft" as we say in chess!? "Luft" literally means "air" in Norwegian -- can also mean "some space/leeway." What's the background? This can also possibly come from German (or some other Germanic language.) Yes, I'm a Norwegian but also a language and chess nerd, but I have never heard this expression before... BTW. Excellent video, as always! :) Thanks!

    Yeah comes from German as I understand it same as zwischenzug, zugswang, zeitnot , a lot of words borrowed in chess from different language eg French , en passant and j’doube, Italian, fianchetto, Persian, rook and checkmate and lost goes on! Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed!

    Didn't Carlsen just panic when black finally managed to drum up some counterplay? The bishops and pawns looked nice, but it was very hard for white to advance those pawns as he was so weak on the dark squares

    I like your channel, but @8:14 you said, "Magnus has got four pawns and a bishop for this queen plus they are very advanced." I wouldn't call it a "sacrifice" at all when you are fully compensated, even over-compensated, with smaller pieces and position.
