What do you prefer? Brand or Generic? Are you fine with either?

Deffinately generic as they are almost half the price as brand names where im from. Thanks for the great vid :)

My pharmacy ran out of my generic pills and gave me brand name Lamictal, this video was perfect timing. Thank you so much 😁

Aha definitely good timing!

If brand drugs really are better, don't you think doctors and pharmacists should make sure their patients get them instead of generic drugs? My psychiatrist hasn't really talked about this before. If a drug isn't working and it's generic, switching to the brand drug could more effectively reduce anxiety and depression.

I always got the Walmart ibuprofen for occasional back pain. The Walmart one is $2. the Advil is $7. for same amount. So my friend gave me 2 of her Advil, they worked so much better there is no comparison. Now I buy Tylenol for headaches, same thing way way better than Walmart brand.

Brand name version is ONLY better if other generics did not mimic the release mechanismof thebrand one. One workaround is to buy the AUTHORIZED generic which is basically the brand with a diff name

Can you do a video on pregabalin im on 600mg a day I have phycosis and would be interesting to see what Americans think of pregabalin I'm also taking 4 anti phycotics. Cheers 👍

@@DrugTalk I've seen your video on pregabalin. Its been extremely addictive to me. I go PTSD from when I was in royal navy I also have panic disorder and phycosis possibly bipolar, I'm just waiting to speak to a doctor about all this. I've got 5 types of medicine I have to take every day aswell it's a living nightmare nightmare living with my conditions. 🙄

I think generic names drugs are alot different, but that just might be me. I used to take lyrica my doctor then gave me pregabalin acord.

I'm actually a pharmacist. Bipolar Disorder is manageable once you get the right medication regimen.

Generic drugs don’t work the same a brand name how can they when they are a third of the price
