Hy guys I'm Fakhar Abbas from Punjab, Pakistan. I hope you will be fine and today we are going to discuss about External Branches of Linguistics. It's our 2nd class of "Linguistics", a subject of BS-ENGLISH. In our 1st class we have discussed definition of linguistics and its internal branches such as Phonetic and Phonology, Syntax and Morphology, Semantics and Pragmatics in detail discussion with examples and complete concept. So today we will discuss some external branches of Linguistics in detail discussion and concept. There are some external branches of Linguistics such as Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Stylistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Anthropological Linguistics, Philosophical Linguistics.
