Brain Tumors in Dogs

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Veterinary Neurologist, Christine Senneca, discusses brain tumors in dogs. Brain tumors are actually relatively common in older dogs. A tumor is an uncontrolled
growth of abnormal cells within otherwise healthy tissue. As a tumor grows inside the brain,
it will damage and eventually compress normal regions of the brain, causing serious
neurologic symptoms.

Is it possible for a young French bulldog to have a tumor and be misdiagnosed as Addison disease?

My dog has Pituitary Dependant cushing's and she is showing neurological issues now. I read it is not common...as in only 10-15% have the tumor grow and show neurological issues. Guess we are the lucky ones... :(
