Dark Side of the Moon was released 50 YEARS AGO THIS YEAR! I have only 2 tattoos - the first is the name of my only child. The second is the prism from the album art. That's all I need! Listening to this album has helped me through many tough times in my life.

There's nothing like experiencing the entire Dark Side of the Moon in a flawless, live performance as I did in July 1994, during their Pulse tour. I was 18 when DSOTM was released and I heard it for the first time... and it took my breath away. A timeless work of art.

Oh, I would give anything to have seen them! I saw many great groups, but my one regret was missing Pink Floyd live.

I saw that 94 tour in San Antonio and it was the second show of that tour. They were Flawless

50 years ago. I was 10 and Money was playing very often on the radio. Floyd was already one of my best group at that age. Probably because of my older brother.

I was 11 when I listened this album for the first time and now I’m 60 and I still get goosebumps every single time. Greetings from Portugal. Keep on coming. Pink Floyd are amazing. Subbed❤

This album, Dark Side Of The Moon will be celebrated for it’s 50th anniversary this March 2023. Look for a few surprises from the group in two months, as this is a “big f-ing deal.” Btw my man Pink Floyd albums’ are meant to be consumed all at once in a single sitting. I realize there are limitations for this type of platform, perhaps a side at a time is possible. This example of “the concept album format” is best understood like chapters in a novel. From beginning to end repeating themes flow from start to finish telling a story. Ride the wave for yourself. I’ve done this with every Floyd album since Meddle, and I can say with confidence, listening to “Floyd” always leaves me in a better place. Regards

Always love the jump-in intro lol. And of course love the Pink Floyd reactions. You've still only just begun to touch the surface on Floyd, my friend. Keep enjoying the music and I'll keep enjoying watching you fall in love.

The voice laughing is Peter Watts who was Floyd's road manager and sound engineer and also actress Naomi Watts father, her mothers voice is also on the album i think its her who says the 'Geezer who was cruising for a bruising and 'I never said i was frightened of dying'. Various people connected to the band like roadies and girlfriends were recorded outside of the official recording and added in for effect.

So glad you did these, these tracks follow "any colour you like" and end the album The Dark Side of the Moon. In Brain Damage, not only do they include the album title but talk about "lunatics" and "loonies" derived from the word "Lunar" meaning "of the Moon" If you want to "go back in time" there's the track "Time" also from this album OR Pink Floyd "Echoes" Live at Pompeii 1972 No Audience, No Lights, No Pyrotechnics and a Dave Gilmour with No Shirt 😂 Just the band playing live in the historically important ancient Roman Amphitheatre of Pompeii Italy (the way you do! 🤣)

It's a shame you didn't show the video that goes with Brain Damage but still a brilliant ending to a great album. The vocals and laughing were Roger Waters with David Gilmour doing harmonies.
