When it gets like that all quiet, live bait is the best with a burly bomb. Lead weight comes into it as well as you want a soft gentle drop. I've also found soft plastics can turn the fish on a little. But what is it sez flogs you nearly every time 😂
Couple suggestions try the vmc coastal blacks 7/0 or 8/0 and swivel together yourself.Quality hook.And always take a few livies whenever you go offshore.Can make the difference on a quiet day .Cheerio

If ya sick of straightening out hooks, ditch the gangs and try a snell with 5/0 mustad hoodlums, ive never used a gang since.

Usually I use 7766’s from Mustad, never had a problem. I’ll be going back to these again now

With 10m leader your both fishing mono near enough, the fish won’t be spoked and you have a fair shock cord , love the show ! Cheers

Snapper will eat anything when hungry! But I definitely run a 5m leader for my bottom fish an feel brain is better,due to being smaller diameter there for less drag an definitely better hook ups an no stretch. Love the show guys 💪🙏
Suicidal snapper hey. Lol. 1020 fish a plenty 1025 fish alive. Rising gradual barometer best. 7766 hooks for snapper. From memory look for 75 meters around that wave meter bouy. Real good rugged bottom east n south bout under 1km ish

I fish upto 100m deep what furuno sounder should I buy...as you like that brand.. My lowrance does not show fish over 60m

@@_OuterLineI’ve seen a senator explode its gear box with a bloody loud bang on a 20+ kg sambo - they ended up hand lining the fish and still got it! To be fair I’m pretty sure the drag was locked down using vice grips 😂
WICH IS LOOKS LIKE KMART SITUATION
Supposed to have water onboard all the time. I keep 10-15 litres plus a few drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide - never goes green. I'm lazy - replace water yearly. Absolutely upgrade hooks and consider lead hook with some bling and swivel between hooks. Lost some good fish Adam - that's fishing

Adam I'm just about to knock up some rigs based upon the Kohga jigs hooks to use on the pillie with some bling and lumo onboard - I'll send you a few to try - you won't lose fish with them 🙂@@_OuterLine
Go to 20:25 and pause the video. Set playback speed at 0.5 😂😂😂 sounds like a trip I once did in heatwave conditions and hydrating with only beer. Don’t recommend.
